Welcome to the start of NSBFL X-2, the writing tournament delayed due to creative works
Coming up first, the tag team championships. Last year this was won by Richard Southworths Megalodan Man-Eater and Battle Raptor 3. This time around, hes sharing the glory by teaming with Matty.
After that, its the game for everyone to play, the Bizarre Battles. Play is simple. I put the draw up, and each fight has a rather strange result. Points are awarded based on the accuracy of the predictions, and the winner is whoever gets the most accurate results. Clues can be gleaned from the stats of the entries, or maybe even the names. Knowing my sense of humour is a big advantage in this game...
After that we have football. Last year, AJs Kahn and Ronaldo survived a last minute comeback to win the final, but they dont seem to have entered this year.
After the football, the road to NSBFL 8 begins with the New Blood. Like Monsoons Back last year, whoever wins this short tournament gets a seeded position in NSBFL 8, which is why everyone will probably want to lose this one One space is left open for this
After that, another set of random battles in the arena selection event. The story behind this is that Im bored with the Unimediate Peril arena, so these fights will showcase four new ideas Ive had for arenas. After the battles, there will be a vote for which arena makes an appearence in NSBFL 8.
One entry still needed
Then just for fun, the mysterious TYOM. When the draw goes up, all will become clear.
Then weve got some good old fashioned grudge matches. Unlike last year, everyones being nice and spiteful, so weve got a few of those
Then finally, not one but two annihilators, followed by the season finale.
For annihilator 1, I need one more entry. For the second, I need entries from Martyn and Dave W
Tag team draw and rules
Refbot has been borrowed from the BBC to ensure fair play. Both tag teams have a corner, and tag in and out by going into their square.
Anyone breaking this rule will be yellow carded. Three yellow cards means a red card, and that robot is deemed immobile.
However, if a robot finds itself in its opponants tag square, it is fair game for both is robots to lay into it.
The fight ends when either both partners of a tag team are immobilised via pitting, damage or any other way. Should it go to the judges, then having a dead team member counts heavily against a team.

Shit. Spinverter AND MSSD.
Well, since Siphai seems to have vanished, Ill wait for him to say weither he wants to go first or not before posting my tactics [IF he posts ]
Tim just nicked the last places in the first annihilator and arena selection. Ill begin fights on Tuesday, two at a time, so youve got until then to enter.
Vanished, you say Anthony? Well then, you can go first if you want to, but for the major plan I want to keep whacking at MSSD and see if I cant completely destroy it and knock the blades off.
