In other news, I am currently typing this on my sisters laptop, as my monitor died earlier today. Atleast I hope its the monitor because I dont want to have to get a new graphics card. So yeah, hopefully I can get a new monitor tomorrow. If not,more delays. What fun

That is a lie! I unplugged it and plugged it back in.
Incidentally though, it has gone back to not working. I bought a new one, and that doesnt work either meanng its probably the graphics card. Why these things always break when I have coursework to finish off, Ill never know.Comment

you could just take it out and then plug it into the computers inbuilt grapgics chip...assuming thats not what you are doign alreadyComment

Because I built this thing pretty much from scratch, and had the slot in extra graphics card ready. It worked before installation, I just couldnt do anything like adjust the settings or anything.
Also, the problem is fixed. The solution turned out to be hilariously simple.Comment
