MiDAS: Smash things with my axe, which is the only properly damaging weapon in the fight, and try not to get flipped, clamped or lifted. Prop them up with my lifters if I have to.
Cryoseism: Spin up and hit things. Try to team up with Coldforge against the other two if possible. Avoid Killotine's axe, smash its sides up, and go for Creature's wheels.
Welcome to the Crash & Burn Mini-Tournament of Death 5! Over the course of the last 4 tournaments, we've had a nice wave of interesting opponents win the gold! PsycloniZer, Do Or Die, Monsoon Season, and Vertigo all have nice shiny trophies on display in their homes. PsycloniZer is sadly the only one who has returned to reclaim its crown, as Psychosis. The trouble is, there are 23 other machines in his way! And each of them has the bite to match their bark!
So let's get stuck in, shall we?

Heat A Round 1 Revolver Ocelot vs. The Servant's Assistant vs. Dantomkia vs. Psychosis
Hailing from the United States of America is a lean, mean, fighting machine named Revolver Ocelot, affectionally named after the Metal Gear character. It has decent 4-wheel-drive and a hefty 15kg spinning bar at the front, capable to putting out 50 kilojoules. That's more than Typhoon 2 could put out, you betcha. 7mm G5 Titanium is nice as well but could fall prey to the heavier spinners, and that rear wedge doesn't work inverted. Mini-Tourn History:None
And here's the first of our three British machines in this melee. The Servant's Assistant is a nice compact little box-wedge with 6-wheel-drive, decent 4-motor drivetrain, and a nice top speed of 40mph! Though it's electronically limited to 18mph, it's still quite robust. It has a decent flipper which can hoist 500kg fairly easily, and some side semi-circle panels to prevent it from being stranded. The 6mm Titanium however could be eaten up by today's standard spinners. Mini-Tourn History:None
The second British machine in the fight, and the third overall, is none other than Mike Lambert's own real robot, Dantomkia! Now in its 5th incarnation, it has an all-Hardox shell and ye olde reliable Bosch 750w driving its 2 wheels. Its flipper has been upgraded greatly over the latest version, but an axe could likely find its way within the flipper gap... Mini-Tourn History:None
And the final British machine to be introduced here is none other than our first champion, Psychosis! Not radically changed from its championship incarnation: still the same cylindrical shape with spinning hammers on a triangular frame, and 4-wheel-drive driven by A28-400s. However, the spinning ring itself is now comprised of 20mm Ti10V alloy instead of Hardox, and thanks to two smaller motors powering the ring, it puts out less energy than it did before, though this will protect it more from self-knockouts. Will AJ regain his crown? Mini-Tourn History: MT1:Defeated Dolce in the Final to become champion! MT2:Lost out to Hypertension Mk 3 and Skid in Round 1.

Another start, another tournament. Let's get it on!
Looks like the quickest in this fight is Dantomkia, surprisingly, who jettisons near the sides of The Servant's Assistant and attempts to flip them over! But Lian isn't as defeated as that. With a burst of speed from the box-wedge, suddenly Dantomkia finds its prey gone and it stops quizzically. Where's The Servant? Right there! They backed up and let Dantomkia drive directly in front of them! Servant's mean, inn'ee? But not nearly as mean as the resulting flip, which sends Dantomkia tumbling across the arena! And who else to get flung into than our fellow American entrant? With a sickening CRUNCH, Revolver Ocelot gets its first hit of the fight by shearing into the front corner of Dantomkia, sending Mike Lambert's newest darling twirling about like an old vinyl record! Revolver indeed! Dantomkia gets nailed again as they spin, and this time there's a noticeable dent in that Hardox shell! Dantomkia isn't going to take that lying down, though, and shrugging off a glancing third hit, they get under Revolver Ocelot and flip the black beast onto its back! And there's another flip! Ocelot could be in trouble! Oho, could the tables turn here?! The momentarily forgotten former champion says NO! Psychosis, up to full speed now, charges into Dantomkia's backside and delivers all those lovely 75 kilojoules of energy into that Hardox shell; Dantomkia is shot into the side wall! But Psychosis didn't fare much better in terms of displacement; they got sent back several feet too! Servant capitalizes on the ex-champ's stunned state, moving straight in between the hammers into the main body, and flicking Psychosis into the air! The durable ring spinner nonetheless falls with a CRASH and Servant keeps with him, making sure he can't spin up at all! Away they go to the hammer corner! And as the pulverizer awaits its delicious offering of metal, Revolver Ocelot is trying to claw one back for the spinners here, and it's doing a good job of it so far as that bar continues to smack Dantomkia away, denting the front corners up more and more after each hit, and the team under captain Mike Lambert look displeased. Oho, there's a particularly savage hit and Dantomkia has pretty visible damage by now... but what's this? They've charged back in?! Oh no! Ocelot's bar stops demolishing! They're flipped again! The flipper of Dantomkia is cleverly tucked because the two wedge points, so it's not like Revolver Ocelot can rip it off, and boy has that benefitted the Dantomkia boys! There's another flip, and they're approaching our newest addition to the house robot family: Teresa, the nun who's very cross! It seems Josh Noel of Team Blood Gulch has a bad history with the house robot - how could that be? Why, he looks more like a raging Scotsman than an American at the moment! But they reach the CPZ anyway, and Teresa snags Ocelot. Dantomkia isn't done, though! There's another flip before Teresa can react, and Ocelot goes flying over the house robot!
While Mike Lambert is having his fun, the pulverizer has been beating a resounding beat into the top armour of Psychosis, each hit making a resounding THUD, but hardly phasing the spinning monster. The Servant's Assistant keeps him there... watch out, Lian! Remember what happened to Killer B! Servant backs off, but adds a flip as a parting shot. Psychosis gets a hammer momentarily caught up on the pulverizer's axle stand, sparking a scare within Andrew Jackson, but a stray hammer hit dislodges the ex-champ. The problem with that is... Servant's able to immediately attack again! Wow! Psychosis continues to ingest more hammer torture! Lian Walsh is enjoying this wholeheartedly, and shares a joke with his teammates, while Andy is trying everything he can to try and get Psychosis to escape this with some kind of dignity... and escape he does! Another stray hammer hit has knocked the cylindrical terror away from Servant's grasp! Lian tears his eyes back to the match and Servant chases Psychosis down, but Psychosis is up to a respectable enough RPM to bounce into Servant's corner and send them both flying, and now Psychosis begins to really get spun up! The pulverizer hits have only served to make the former champion mad as hell, and he's not gonna take it anymore! Servant blazes in like a freight train, but a deft slide to the side allows Psychosis to get in a major shot! And Servant, getting flung away like a ragdoll, takes some heavy damage here, as an entire front panel, just beside the flipper, has been flung off entirely, exposing the mechanics within! Psychosis must have invoked the spirit of Son of Whyachi; tearing off titanium panels was the shuffler's strategy! Servant approaches more cautiously, pretending the facial damage was but superficial. Psychosis sticks and moves, not allowing Servant to get a clear shot. Eventually, though, Lian has to bite the bullet if he wants anything done, here, and charges Psychosis! But sadly, that was just what the Shropshire spinner was expecting! Another corner hit dislodges the side panel somewhat and sends Servant skittering across the arena...
...to crash into the back of Dantomkia! At last, the two battles have merged! Dantomkia turns about as Ocelot languishes, stuck behind Teresa, and gets under The Servant's Assistant! Using its improved flipping arm, it launches Servant into the air, who crashes upside-down. Lian quickly self-rights, but not quick enough! Psychosis, though moving slower than usual, has made tracks on him and now belts out another heavy blow, smacking Servant into the side of the house robot not too far away! Teresa gets under Servant and shoves him away, allowing Ocelot to finally make his escape! Dantomkia, however, isn't having any of that, and promptly attacks the American robot again, flipping and propping Ocelot up against the corner, only for Ocelot for fall back down onto it. Dantomkia backs up for a better angle, when Psychosis catches up yet again! Mike Lambert wasn't blind to this, but Dantomkia can't turn in time and they eat a huge shot to the side, which is deadly because they were right next to the wall and are mashed right against it! Teresa is back for more pain dishing, and promptly punches Revolver Ocelot. Josh gets the message and hurries out of there, managing to dodge Psychosis, who's spinning up again. Servant is twitching, but not quite immobile... so Revolver Ocelot takes the cheap shot and buries the bar into their side! Servant gets sent right over the slots! Robotnik, Robotnik... Tails. Aw, poot. No overpowered hazards today, gents. More importantly, Team Blood Gulch has had the last say on the fate of Servant... unless you count The Watcher moving to make the first count-out of the tournament! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
And The Servant's Assistant is the first to go! Asterix is out of his CPZ like a flash, and due to the veteran house robot's enhanced power, he bulldozes into Servant and mashes them so hard against the wall you'd have thought an earthquake just struck! Dantomkia meanwhile is back in business, getting under the now sluggish Psychosis and tossing it into the air! But Revolver Ocelot comes to the rescue, delivering a hefty shot to the rear of the Lambert machine! Now it's Dantomkia that's sluggish, and now it can't catch up to Psychosis before the ex-champ is back at full deadly RPMs! Ocelot takes another bite out of Dantomkia! This pings him into Psychosis, who pinballs him back into Ocelot! Keeping with the arena theme, are we, boys? Ocelot hasn't had a chance to spin up again so he kind of pushes Dantomkia into Psychosis, and Psychosis wails on Dantomkia with another hit. Dantomkia sails into the side wall... and finally lies still, beat broken and scarred! As Asterix lifts up the remains of Servant, The Watcher sidles over to Dantomkia's prone form and delivers its eulogy... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
CEASE!
It was a strong start for the British flippers, but in the end they were torn up and spun out! Bar and cage prevail as Revolver Ocelot and the former champion Psychosis advance to Round 2!

WhipCoil vs. Flick of the Wrist vs. MiDAS vs. Revenge of Theseus
Locked and loaded for a mini-tournament, comes none other than the current major champion of Crash & Burn 5, WhipCoil! He's a curious compact little gun, similar to SHW Diesector with pneumatic clamping jaws and 8mm aluminium armour, and 4 Ampflow motor driving its 4-wheel-drive. It's invertible too, but not as effective and lack of damaging weaponry may be its doom. Mini-Tourn History:None
Blazing into its first Mini-Tournament is Martijn Benschop's rammer, Flick of the Wrist. It's shaped like Robot Wars veteran Tornado, but it's a lot faster overall at 22mph. It also has 7mm titanium, B42-500 MagMotors with some decent power, and a pair of lifting forks at the front, which can be held up while ramming to spear opponents. But his manoeuvrability won't be the best... Mini-Tourn History:None
Trust the MiDAS touch! It has a powerful lifter/axe combo, and some good drivetrain, akin to the Dutch rammer here as well. However, its armour is not the greatest. But come on, it's GOLD. Mini-Tourn History:None
And our last happy entrant is yet another robot newcomer, Revenge of Theseus. It's basically an Atomic clone with Hardox armour, a wedge extension, and great drive power. As with all flippers, the gas supply will run out, and there's no real way to do real damage with the flipper... Mini-Tourn History:None

Flick of the Wrist is the quicker, here! It's gone out to mid-arena... WhipCoil is after MiDAS, and Revenge of Theseus... goes after MiDAS as well! Perfect opportunity for the Dutch machine to get its licks in. MiDAS manages to slide his lifters in-between the gaps in WhipCoil's jaws, but as they lock together, RoT slams into the back of MiDAS, and gets under the back of it, flipping them both! Not exactly the best situation for WhipCoil to be in, as their weaponry is less effective, now, but MiDAS manages to right itself. Theseus is more bent on attacking MiDAS however, and continues to go after it! MiDAS meets the plucky Atomic-alike and the lifter slides under the approaching flipper. Flick of the Wrist adds to the pain by slamming into the side of Theseus, which isn't protected by a skirt! MiDAS turns about as Flick gets under RoT and lifts it, shoving it all the way across the arena to find that juicy new hazard, the spinner! And with a monumental CRASH, Flick is repelled and Rot goes flying across the arena! WhipCoil chases it down, eager to prove he's worth his salt. MiDAS switches targets now and attacks Flick of the Wrist, and Flick responds by... running away. Confused, MiDAS nonetheless stalks the Dutch rammer, who's rushing at the back of WhipCoil. WhipCoil shoves into RoT, whose side is really gouged up, but an incoming FotW barrels into the green machine, expertly sliding under and allowing Theseus to escape. But MiDAS is hot on Flick's tail, and reminds Martijn of his presence by slamming the axe down on Flick's titanium shell. It doesn't make too much of a dent though, but MiDAS' lifter proves to be more effective as it gets under Flick and tips him up. WhipCoil turns about, freed from Flick's control, and he gets to Flick's side. Together, Nick and Dylan manage to push Martijn's machine into the hammer corner, and Flick takes a beating - WHOA!!! Theseus didn't want to be left out and got under MiDAS, sending the golden machine cartwheeling through the air! It lands right-side-up, and this allows Flick of the Wrist to back out of the hammer area, away from WhipCoil, who pursues with diligence!
Theseus continues its mean streak! FLIP! MiDAS goes flying! He crashes! Theseus doesn't let up! FLIP! CRASH! MiDAS is reeling! Theseus moves in - and misses! He flips himself! MiDAS is already back on its feet, and moves in before Theseus can self-right... but self-right the flipper does! Only, it's onto MiDAS front end anyway! And MiDAS takes them right into the corner where Rorschach is! The house robot quite sees Theseus as the villain and makes its mark of justice known; the claw that comes down on Theseus has 6 tons... at the tip! That's enough to penetrate that otherwise tough 3.5mm Hardox on Theseus, and crunch right in! MiDAS backs off a few inches, and then starts hammering away with the axe! Poor Theseus is getting bombarded! Meanwhile, Flick and WhipCoil are sharing a dance and Flick seems to be winning! With its range reduced to that one narrow clamp, WhipCoil is up against it as Flick dodges about and rams the C&B5 champ into the wall! And along the wall! They're getting near the spinner now, and WhipCoil can't find purchase to get away!
CRAAASH!!!
And nobody will be left in any doubt how the tournament got it name after that hit!!! WhipCoil's entire side has just been completely ravaged! Worse yet, he's still not out of the clutches of Flick of the Wrist... Martijn goes in for another beating!

More cruelty to the Ignition machine! And... I think that's it! They were just completely overwhelmed by the hazard... side ripped wide open and mechanics broken, one of the wheels ripped into... but most importantly, they aren't moving! And... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
WhipCoil's out! And while that's being going out, Rorschach has released Revenge of Theseus, who's definitely moving much slower now, and the flipper's been buckled! Noticing this, MiDAS goes in for another onslaught... up goes the lifter, and Theseus falls onto its back! ...and there will be no flipper firing today! MiDAS has done enough - Theseus is surely finished! Flick of the Wrist spins in the middle of the arena to let out its feelings as The Watcher finishes counting out WhipCoil and now heads over to Revenge of Theseus! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!

It's a good day to be a 6-wheeled machine! Flick of the Wrist and MiDAS advance to Round 2!
-Oh boy. Well definitely avoid hazards/housebots for one thing. Give MiDAS a facefull of spinning bar at every opportunity and try to keep him from getting around to my sides/back as much as I can. If I can wreck the lifter it'll make it harder for him to slam me around.
Revolver Ocelot? Expletives. What I would like to do if he starts bar-down is raise my lifters slightly so they pass over his bar, and I can then use them as a keep-away implement to push against his chassis. Hopefully. Then smash his weapon array with my axe repeatedly until his weapon breaks, at which point bring the lifters back down and start pushing him around the place while still smashing him with my axe. If he starts spinny-side-up, try and push him about with the plow on the back. If that fails, distract Josh with how gorgeous MiDAS looks by being all shiny shiny.
Heat A Final: Revolver Ocelot vs. Flick of the Wrist
Welcome to the second round of Heat A! In our first fight, the flippers tried but they couldn't match the powers of Revolver Ocelot and returning ex-champ Psychosis. In the second fight, however, champs proved that they aren't invincible as WhipCoil went out, followed by Revenge of Theseus, leaving Flick of the Wrist and MiDAS to advance!
Let's divide by two again, shall we?
Heat A Round 2 MiDAS vs. Revolver Ocelot

And we're off to the races! MiDAS blazes out with its lifter raised...curious. Revolver Ocelot is looking to MiDAS a facefull... problem is, MiDAS is keeping the face quite well back! So let's see... Ocelot gets nearer... and nearer... and suddenly, without warning, MiDAS lowers the lifters on top of Revolver Ocelot, where the axle would be, seemingly halting Ocelot's progress! What sheer ingenuity! And now down comes that axe! WHACK - OH! A bounce, and - CRAAASH!!! Ah, Ocelot didn't get the blow he wanted, but the bar reached far enough to the side to nick, so to speak, one of the side skirts and there is a massive collision as the skirt is ripped out entirely!! Both bots go sailing away from either... and Revolver Ocelot is determined to get that bar to do some more rottenness! MiDAS sails back in, but Josh has different ideas! He moves Ocelot off to the side, where the exposed side now is, and MiDAS now has to back off to prevent Ocelot from getting at the side! Ocelot keeps going though, and MiDAS raises the lifters again as to prevent them from getting hit. This is quite tactical stuff here, goodness me. Ocelot then angles in quite suddenly! MiDAS is thrown off and tries lowering the lifters, but Ocelot pushes through anyway! WHAP! ...well, that's not good! The rubber off of one of MiDAS' tires has been chewed right off! This could be the beginning of the end! At this point, MiDAS forgets the previous tactic and now decides to use his rear mounted plow, I see! Problem is, is it too little, too late?! Ocelot continues to spin to win, indubitable in its spinning bar's power. MiDAS is careful to compensate for its removed tire, trying to line the angle up into Ocelot's bar... but the Blood Gulch machine isn't letting him do it! What a wacky Ocelot! Nick isn't too happy, but decides to go for it anyway, and MiDAS rolls backwards into Ocelot... CRAAASH!!! Ocelot catches the side of the plow! It's torn up and this separates them quite a bit! Here comes Ocelot again, and manages to get in another strong hit before MiDAS can get the plow facing them again! WHAP! ...there goes another tire!!! On the same side, even! That's really going to mess up their mobility, innit?!
Desperate to get some sort of offense going, MiDAS just plow into Ocelot now, anticipating the wide angle he's travelling in! Ocelot hits the plow and tears it up more, but it sends him into the wall! MiDAS has crushed Ocelot against the wall! Oh my! Could this battle turn on its head?! They're going along the wall to the CPZ! Exa-Gore-Ic awaits! Josh certainly doesn't want to be near the house robot and fights with every fibre he has, but Nick has the final say! In goes Ocelot, and the claws gobble him up! ...and they completely penetrate the sides of Ocelot, right through both rear wheels!!! That can't be good!! MiDAS tries to further capitalize, but his gimped driving causes him to slam straight into the nearby wall! Ouch. Ironically this has allowed Revolver Ocelot, who was grabbed from the rear, to spin its blade up!! MiDAS, get back in there! ...well. It seems Ocelot was ripe for some tongue-lashing, and Exa-Gore-Ic is giving him an arse full of it with that spike. Quite bothersome, I'd say. Nick struggles to keep MiDAS in control and turn him around reliably, but with 3 wheels on one side and only 1 on the other, that's not an easy feat! Okay... at last, Exa-Gore-Ic releases Revolver Ocelot... who's definitely moving much slower now... in fact, he's barely moving at all! Only the two front wheels are functional, and they don't have as much power as they did before. But that bar is still going... and finally MiDAS lines up perfectly and slams rear-first into the blade! CRAAAASH!!! I think we saw it coming, but still, the sight of MiDAS' entire plow getting torn right out is definitely a sight to see! But even after all that, MiDAS is still mobile! He's trying to kind of... turn, to get the front back in. Ocelot's still going, the front wheels just about able to keep him moving... MiDAS drives in again, but this time his ghost of a drivetrain lets him down as he speeds by Ocelot! Given its opportunity, Ocelot takes it. WHAP!
There goes the last wheel on that side! MiDAS goes tumbling... and when he stops, he can only move in a circle! I would say that's game! Revolver Ocelot, damaged as he is, is allowed to advance onwards as The Watcher is at the side of MiDAS immediately, blaring out the countdown we know now too well! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!
CEASE!
It looks like MiDAS got touched once too often, and his hopes are but fool's gold now. The trigger-happy Revolver Ocelot advances to the Finals in one battered, but still whole, package!

In Round 1 the impact of my attacks was throwing both robots apart, and I am going to try and use that to my advantage in this battle. By getting thrown away from Flick of the Wrist I should be able to spin up quickly enough to fend it off again before it can use the lifting forks. Try to concentrate attacks on the sides – I should be able to cause damage to 7mm thick Titanium and maybe even bend the armour enough to lock some of the wheels up and reduce its manoeuvrability.
¡Ay carumba! Flick of the Wrist is off from his spot like a flash! But he's not driving forward, oh no sir! He's going in reverse!!! Psychosis for its part is spinning up and tries to gets away before Flick of the Wrist impacts into him... but it's not happening! CRASH! It's still a respectable hit and both robots get spun away, but Flick pursues the spinner! Psychosis is trying again, but Flick of the Wrist catches up to him much quicker this time and the second hit is definitely much less potent! Psychosis reels away, stopped, and Martijn seizes the opportunity! Turning around, Flick of the Wrist buries the front into the half-spun cage, taking another minor hit, but moves back in again and slides the forks under! The problem is, it's not between the cage and Psychosis' main body, something Martijn wanted! Oh well, here goes Flick for a ram towards the hammer! But... no! Psychosis slid off! Maybe a saving grace, perhaps? NO! Flick of the Wrist's reflexes are amazing, as he just drives backwards into Psychosis before the spinner gets any real momentum going! Another minor hit, but its only serves to spin Flick around somewhat... with the forks pointed! In comes the Dutch robot! Psychosis is snagged rather easily, I must say! But again, it's the main body Flick gets under, rather than entangling the cage. With the hammer behind him, Flick of the Wrist decides to utilize another hazard - the paddles! As we all know, these blighters revel in sending any unfortunate robot across the arena in a huge burst! Flick drives Psychosis towards one of them now, and stops just a few feet from it; Psychosis slides right into the paddle... and it just rockets him across the arena, almost into the other set of paddles at the other end! Flick of the Wrist continues to hunt Psychosis now, but the British spinner is resilient! It is not, however, having been successful in getting in its shots. Maybe the tide will turn here though as Flick backs into Psychosis again though, and takes a huge shot to the rearquarters... and there's now a great bloody dent in it! Psychosis achieves some distance to spin up again, and Flick backs into Psychosis again! CRASH!! Another hit, and that rear looks worse! But I'll say this for Flick, he's doing well in keeping Psychosis away from his sides! Flick goes back in for one more onslaught, and is pounded yet again by the whirling dervish that is Psychosis' cage! But now the dervish is dormant, and Flick can come in and use the forks! And use them, he does! He gets under Psychosis, again from the main body, and shoves him towards the hammer! Psychosis is trying, but he can't escape, and there's now lucky slide off the front either as Flick deposits him under the hammer at long last! Blimey, they just repaired all that damage from the hammer last battle and now their lid is taking a'knocking again! Flick keeps them pegged in there, and the poor ex-champion is taking numerous bangs now to their roof! Dents are appearing, though not as extreme as Flick's rather ruined rear end. Finally, the 30 seconds in which Flick can hold Psychosis in there are up, and he has to back off. Psychosis exits the hazard area looking pounded, but otherwise fine! Flick of the Wrist is taking no chances, and immediately BACKS in again with the rear! A minor hit again, but it's still a hit! Now Flick seems to be moving just a weeeeeeeee bit slower... but it's still enough to completely halt the Jackson wallop with another ram! Flick turns again and buries the forks under Psychosis. He just simply cannot exploit the forks getting in-between the cage and the main body, but he's still in control as he again lifts Psychosis off the ground! Off they go to the hammer again, and Psychosis just keeps taking licks! Oho! Flick of the Wrist's forks have found another exploit! The wheel slots! The forks, though not penetrating the wheels themselves, manage to snag those open holes and now Psychosis is now truly trapped between a brick and a hard place! There's now several visible dents on the lid of Psychosis, and now Flick pulls him away... but takes him right into the wall! I see what they're trying to do, they're trying to stack the spinner against the wall! But will it work... not quite. What's more, Psychosis slides completely out of Flick's grip, the wheel slots dislodging from the forks, and Psychosis moves away...
It's becoming evident that this has become Martijn's battle to lose as Flick of the Wrist charges into Psychosis again, front-on this time as the gusto from Psychosis' spin seems lost. The hit on the forks is feeble and only mildly turns Flick about a couple of degrees, and the rammer slides under right away. Lift. Psychosis is suspended! But with no hammer to deliver the invertible Son-of-Whyachi to, Flick decides to throw him into a corner and see what happens! Namely... Asterix's corner! Oh yes! And the gaul is not happy, oh no. He gets under Psychosis from the other side, and lifts the patented "mustache" forks up! Like Flick before him, he snags a wheel well and has Psychosis completely at his mercy! Where's he going to go? Right into the arena wall!! Asterix charges the arena wall down with Psychosis in tow, and the impact rattles the arena! Flick of the Wrist keeps tabs on the two robots as Asterix lowers the forks... Psychosis gets away from him, but his driving is now severely compromised - a tire has been punctured! Flick of the Wrist, however, lets up for no one! He charges in again, with the rear once more, but evidently Psychosis' ring recovered from the impact damage of the hammer and the resultant hit is now nearly at full-power! CRASH!! Flick gets sent spiralling! Psychosis - OHO... watch out for that spinner! You wouldn't want to get near that! Flick... you wouldn't either, considering you're now moving pretty slowly yourself! Psychosis is spinning back up now, oh no! Flick of the Wrist has been disabled somewhat! All those hits to the rear must have done something to him! Like... disable him somewhat. But they charge in again and are blasted away... and Psychosis hits the spinner!! CRAAAASH!!! Psychosis feels the hazard's wrath as it catapults him away, narrowly avoiding the paddles again, and now one of his hammers on the cage is completely bent! He tries to spin up again, but the gyroscopic forces and the loss of balance cause him to nearly flip himself! Flick tries to capitalize, but he's really going nowhere fast now! All those hits have jarred his insides about! Psychosis, however, is almost completely helpless; they can't spin up without destroying themselves, and their own drive speed is botched due to all those hammer hits! So what do we do? Well Flick of the Wrist is trying to get some form of attack going... and they're getting nearer and nearer...

Oh my! Will it come down to the first judges' decision of the tournament? It just may! Flick connects with Psychosis at last and tries to lift them up... and does so! Where can they take the spinner?

Flick decides to takes him back to the hammer! But his progress is really slow!
3...2...1...
They just barely get there in time and Psychosis takes one more shot before...
CEASE!
And that's it! As the hammer retracts, the judges peer down with interest at what must have been a fight fit for the robotic deities! But wanting to decide it? Bloody hell, no!

Psychosis - Flick of the Wrist
Strategy = 0/5 - 5/5 (Psychosis completely failed in its side-attacking tactics, whereas Flick's tactics served him incredibly well)
Style = 8/10 - 2/10 (Psychosis just looked cool when attacking. Flick of the Wrist had standard rambot charges which weren't exactly the definition of "bling")
Control = 5/15 - 10/15 (Flick of the Wrist showed more control in its attacks than Psychosis)
Aggression = 1/20 - 19/20 (Flick of the Wrist destroys this category. Psychosis hardly ever tried to be aggressive and it was Flick doing all the work. Psychosis gets a point for the hits he made, but nothing more)
Damage = 20/25 - 5/25 (despite the pulverizer damage and the spinner hit late at the end, this was pretty much all Psychosis; they completely destroyed the rear end of Flick of the Wrist, in turn disabling them quite a bit)
Total = 34/75 - 41/75

A bit close, but Psychosis has to be locked back up in the Jackson asylum due to dementia! Flick of the Wrist moves on and claims a Finals spot!
