        Im not too worried about Matamata, and my confidence only gets better looking at that 4mm fiberglass. Just ram into him head on with the weapona t full speed. 1-3 hits should do it.

        Typhoon, however, will be no walk in the park. I plan to get the weapon to full RPM and then charge into Typhoon full speed. If my weapon brakes, try to pit it, which will be quite difficult. If it dosent, then back off, regain the RPM i lost, then quickly move back in and do more damage. If his weapon somehow breaks, then Ive pretty much won. Just keep taking peices out of him until hes immobile.
        If my weapon dies and his dies, however, then I also have a good chance. Push him with my raer into the pit trigger, then shove him into the pit. Be on the lookout for any tricks Typhoon might try without its weapon though.
        All in all, this should be a very exciting match.

                OK...hmmm...can self right...therefore Im going to be a fool and go for hydraulics.....

                Grab it down with the claw and hoist it into the air...then drop into the pit or whatever else I can get to. Doesnt seem like the most obvious tactic for an opponent like this, but using pnuematics gives it too much freedom...

                If someone gives me a pic I may modify that.

                    Ram it. Hard. The wedge should hopefully stand up to the spinner while I ram it around.

                    Flip it about, OOTA if possible.

                    See The Disc vs TAN in PTT5... Only GigaByte has a more powerful weapon and a stronger drive and armour and there are no vunerable wheels either.

                      Both robots are in the arena, and ready to go, as the traffic light system is ready to go

                      Matamata is away, the wheels driving across the arena, as Chris is looking for a ramming great victory here, as Tony spins up the weapon on Xenophobia, as he starts to move forward. Matamata has opened the pit release, as Chris turns Matamata around and drives straight towards Xenophobia.

                      The initial impact is bad, as pieces of fibreglass are spread over the arena, and another impact, as Matamata is taken apart, the chassis breaking under the energy put upon it by Xenophobia€™s weapon, as Tony moves forward and rips out the inners of Matamata, as the last time we have seen this destruction, was when Automatic Schmuck got carried away with destroying cyclone force, as another impact from Xenophobia, as Matamata is everywhere but there. Tony puts on full power and slams into the remainder of the chassis, destroying the loving creation of Chris Mason, as there is nothing left, not even scrap.

                      Ref starts to count out Matamata, but it is at the largest pile, the pile of fibreglass:
                      1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card.

                      Cease

                      Xenophobia wins over Matamata via KO in 1:58. Tony gets the Raptor-weight cup.

                      Featherweights
                      Kinetic Energy vs. Overdrive


                      Both robots are ready in the arena, ready to go, ready to fight to the death for the glory of the featherweight cup, the last ever featherweight fight I will be writing, so which of the 12 kilo vapourbots will walk away with the cup, and which will go home empty handed?

                      Both robots are away from the coloured squares; Aaron has the front spinner on Kinetic Energy up to speed already and starts to drive towards Overdrive, which Andy has turned around and is driving towards Kinetic Energy, as Aaron dodges the front wedge to manage to get around the sides. Kinetic Energy pushes forward, forcing Andy€™s machine into a corner. The first impact is made, on the front wedge of Overdrive.

                      The wedge is damaged; there is a scar in the front wedge, as Aaron keeps on the power, as Overdrive is trying to get away. Andy manages to get out and slam into Kinetic Energy, from the side, pushing it into the sliding door, which has started to slide. The damage is done to the door, as it hangs loose, as Aaron out accelerates Overdrive and dodges the attack well, as the pit button has been pressed, and both robots come together, and both are sent away, as Kinetic Energy gets around the side of Overdrive and causes damage to the skirt, ripping the front part away from the body, as Kinetic Energy comes back onto the attack, hitting into Overdrive again and again, giving Andy no time to get his head together, as the first real damage is done to the side of Overdrive.

                      Andy turns around and rams into the front disc of Kinetic Energy, and tries to push backwards against Aaron€™s featherweight version of Mad Dog, but Overdrive can not get a good grip on the front, and is pushed away by the torque from the bar, as Aaron goes after Overdrive and rips into the other side of Overdrive, as Andy turns and slams underneath the side of Kinetic Energy, and pushes it towards the arena pit at full speed. Aaron tries to move, as the wheels are spinning, the blade has stopped moving, as it is forced against the arena floor, as a piece of Overdrive€™s armour comes away, but Kinetic Energy is down into the pit, the smoke starting to raise from the pit of broken dreams, as Overdrive spins around on the arena floor.

                      Cease

                      Overdrive pits Kinetic Energy to keep a hold on the featherweight title.

                        Hmm, time for those pesky other-weights again, if it wasn€™t for these than this tournament would have been finished before October.

                        Hell Hound vs. Little Big Bot

                        Both robots are away from the starting squares, as Chris and Dave want to lay their hands upon the lightweight cup, as Little Big Bot gets first in the act and starts to swing that axe back and forward like a mad axe man, with no brains, as it hits into the top of Hell Hound, as Dave tries to get his claws into play, but Chris isn€™t allowing for a breakaway, as the top armour of Hell Hound has been bent, but still Chris isn€™t holding back, as he drives away to re-load, the top armour of Hell Hound has been bent inwards, as Dave turns and drives towards Little Big Bot, as it opened the pit release.

                        Chris turns, and fires the axe again and again into the top of Hell Hound, as Dave finally gets underneath, and the hydraulic claws come into play, lifting the wheels of Little Big Bot off the ground, as the axe keeps on swinging back and forward, trying to knock the stuffing out of Hell Hound, but Dave has turned the battle around, as he is pushing Little Big Bot towards the pit, the wheels spinning, but there is no traction against the air, as hydraulic fluid starts to pour from Hell Hound, as Little Big Bot is dropped down the pit, as Hell Hound€™s weapon started to raise before the line was slip.

                        Cease

                        Little Big Bot pitted, Hell Hound takes it to hell, and collects the lightweight cup.

                        Middleweights
                        Typhoon vs. Knee Breaker

                        Activate

                        Tony starts to drive Knee Breaker towards Typhoon, as both weapons are up-to speed after a brief pause, as both robots come together. The impact is strong, as the front blade of Knee Breaker has come flying away from the front, with the impact, which has caused a large scar in the side of Typhoon. Both robots are now weapon-less, as Knee Breaker slams into the side of Typhoon, and starts to push the cone robot towards the arena spike, but you can see that there is some pretty major damage to the structure of Knee Breaker, as there is a large crack in the side, but the arena spike fires, sending Typhoon onto it€™s side. Martyn€™s robot never got going, not since that first impact, where the shaft took most of the damage and bent, as it lies on it€™s side.

                        Ref is coming over to count out Typhoon, the RW middleweight champion forever, as Knee Breaker starts to spin around on the spot, Tony is happy that he can walk away with two cups at least. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and there goes the red card.

                        Cease

                        Typhoon, flipped by the spike, Knee Breaker breaks itself, but wins the middleweight championship.

                              Sorry everybody for the delay, but I have been snowed under with Coursework this week and also I have been listening to too much electro-pop but without further delay hopefully, the final 3 fights of NSTT, to close the Fight Against Robots book once and for all. If god had a master plan, that only he understands.

                              Classic Heavyweight€™s Final
                              Mini Disco vs. Le Nez

                              Both robots are away from the starting squares, and Mini Disco€™s weapon is up to speed as Martyn turns Mini Disco around to dodge the attacking from Le Nez, as Andy is looking for another cup to take home with him, as Le Nez is dodged around by the nippier Mini Disco, which slams into the side armour, causing a lovely tear in the titanium, and another impact from Mini Disco, as the side panel has been ripped away, showing the entire world the insides, as Le Nez turns, getting it€™s nose under Mini Disco€™s side, the flipper fires, sending Mini Disco over, as Le Nez comes back onto the attack.

                              Martyn dodges the frontal impact from Le Nez, as Andy tries to get his nose into place, to flip Mini Disco over the wall. You could have it so much better, but Mini Disco comes down onto the left hand side of Le Nez, and ripping away that side€™s armour, those bolts Andy uses to hold the titanium onto Le Nez are the weakest link, but Andy turns the screw once more and rams into Mini Disco, head first, as both robots hit.

                              Both robots bounce away from each other, a lovely scar has form in the flipper arm of Le Nez, but Andy comes back onto the attack, but Mini Disco is ready, and dodges the attack, striking a blow onto the exposed right wheel of Le Nez, it hasn€™t come off, but you can see that the wheel has been hit, as it wobbles when moving, slowing Le Nez down to a slower pace, allowing Mini Disco to come around the rear, away from the danger zone of Le Nez and attack the right hand wheel once more. This time, it is 2nd time lucky for Martyn, as the right hand side of Le Nez falls to the floor like a hammer to the ground, shaking, as the left hand side lifts up, as Mini Disco hits the old wheel once more, bending it like a banana.

                              Ref is coming out to count out Le Nez, as Andy is shaking his head, and fires the flipper, sending millions of air particles into the air, but the damage has been done. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and there goes the red card, as Mini Disco has walked away with the classical heavyweight cup.

                              Cease

                              The Disc 5 vs. Giga-Byte (15)

                              In the red square, from the evil mind of Frank Goacher, everybody€™s favourite coffee-drinker, here rolls The Disc, repaired from its last fight, from help from Tom. Frank is waving at the crowd from the control booth.

                              In the blue square, from the eviler mind of Andrew James Jackson, everybody€™s favourite battle writer, here rolls champion of series 7, Giga-Byte. Andy is waving at the crowd from the control booth, having been forced to put down his keyboard from doing anymore fights.

                              Giga-Byte is away from the starting square, like a shot from a gun, being shot at a random rabbit, as The Disc 5 is getting its disc up to speed for the first time, as Andy turns Giga-Byte around the starting square separator and goes head first into The Disc 5 trying to hoop the claws around something, but the claws just slip on the smooth outer wheels, as Frank turns, bringing the disc down onto the top of Giga-Byte, making it jump up, and another impact, hits the main body, flipping Giga-Byte around, landing on it€™s claw, as a small cracking noise is heard, as Andy accelerates away from The Disc 5, to get his bearings.

                              Frank moves The Disc 5 forward and into the main area, as Giga-Byte opens the pit release, as Andy turns on the spot before driving in towards The Disc 5 on a suicidal run, trying to beat The Disc 5, but Frank is ready for the attack, and turns the main disc around for the best impact, as both robots come together, a rush of co2 to the head, as the claws try to claw around the wheel, but once more, fall short of clamping successfully, as Frank turns around on his 6 wheel drive monster, and gives that young Giga-Byte a good headache with an hit on the head, knocking it backwards, as Frank puts on his drive, driving into Giga-Byte once more, as the wheels try to find grip on the arena surface, and another impact from The Disc 5€™s disc, flipping Giga-Byte into the air, as Frank puts on the power once more, and keeps on knocking Giga-Byte around, nitrogen has started to leak, as something inside has bent from the impacts, even with all the rubber from the cars on the M25 inside Giga-Byte, as The Disc 5 hits once more, as the leak gets worse, as Giga-Byte lands once more on it€™s side, falling back to the ground, nitrogen is leaking from one of the cylinders, as there is no life from Giga-Byte, nothing, not a sausage, as The Disc 5 stops looking for a moment, as there is silence in the arena, as Andy is holding up his hands, and puts down the controller.

                              Ref is counting out Giga-Byte, as we speak, as The Disc 5 spins around, looking nice, as the red card is shown to Giga-Byte.

                              Cease

                              Giga-Byte, losing it€™s aerial for the remote control when being bounced about is out. The Disc 5 claims the 3rd place cup, and a bronze coffee cup.

                                Automatic Schmuck vs. Achilles (23)

                                Im picking Automatic Schmuck to carry on its awesome unbeaten run and win the final. Achilles can box rush and flip all it likes but I think the damage factor will weigh heavily on the result.

                                Sad to know this is gonna be the last FAR. Yet another ledgendary major tournament crashes away...
