    Dinowarrior Destruction

I hope this shows my determination, I am still not very well. I could have given up on this...but NO! I REFUSE!!!

First Robot to enter the ring is the current Fantasy Robotica champion, the one and only Marabunta. A lot has changed since FR came, and Marabunta now has a nasty Storm 2 style lifter. In fact, its totally based on Storm 2, but its weapon cant work upside down.

Next is a Vapourbot Wars Veteran, Wedge Devolution. Based on Chaos 2, this scottish entry has a powerful rear-hindged flipper with skirts and bars to prevent self-flips and strandings. This has to be the favourite for this heat, and the only weakness I can see is limited CO2 supply.

Finally is NJACC 2.2 (Not Just A Cassius Clone), which pretty much says it all. This wedge shape has a Cassius type flipper, but also has a rear flywheel. It looks strong, but with a 1 centimetre rear ground clearance, it could be vulnerable.

Our House Robots are Irritator and Jakamoko 2

    3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

Wedge Devolution, my favourite for this heat, moving straight for Marabunta. I heard Steven saying that he will go for Marabunta, but Marabunta staying away from trouble. Pushing Wedge Devolution now is Marabunta, not easy with all the skirts. In goes NJACC 2.2, who lost to Marabunta in the final of FR, wanting revenge. Wedge Devolution comes side on to Marabunta and FLIPS! Marabunta is now suspect, riding up NJACC, who flips it back over...now WHY did you do THAT? Marabunta could have been beaten there. Now Marabunta rams NJACC into the rail, lifts it up against said rail. In comes Wedge Devolution, as NJACC gets back upright...OH, BUT IS FLIPPED STRAIGHT OUT BY WEDGE DEVOLUTION! I said right at the beginning that that rear ground clearance was way too suspect, and NJACC paid the price...death! Its all over...OH, Wedge Devolution is taking on Jakamoko 2! What on earth are they doing! Wedge Devolution almost flips Jakamoko 2, but swinging that axe he stays upright. Marabunta takes a blow from Jakamoko 2, you shouldnt have got in the way. Irritator and Crash Bandi-bot come in to seperate the robots. Irritator pries Wedge Devolution away and Crash Bandi-bots eye glows yellow, a yellow card for Wedge Devolution

    CEASE!

MARABUNTA AND WEDGE DEVOLUTION GO THROUGH!

Here is the draw for the second round

Marabunta vs Angel of the Abyss
    RPS XPN1 vs Wedge Devolution

And SD IV takes on Jakamoko 2 in the Sumo.

Time to pay for Wedges VFT demise, Mr Fowler

In this fight, I am the faster, so Ill use my greater speed to get around the sides and rear of RPS and will simply chuck it round the ring with the normal blade: hopefully getting another OOTA.

As for the Terrorhurtz axe on board my foe...well, Wedge Devo is coated in 4mm Hardox and the real THz can barely dint that according to Aaron, so I fail to see what RPSs similar hammer can do

...and how did you know I wanted to kill the House Bots, Chris?

Keep the front facing. If we can then they cant flip us thenthey cant beat us and the scoop will get underneath. The scissors at the back should be able to grab as well and the axe will probably just about cut through though not do damage to any internals.

OOH!! What to do? A full-body spinner, boy do I hate them & this 1, erm, tactics, Ill just make a attempt to flip it over but itll probably be able to right itself, if it does, then just ram it into the house robots.

                  Dinowarrior Destruction

Welcome back all you budding DD fans (I was close). In a moment well have the second round when Marabunta takes on Angel of the Abyss and Wedge Devolution battles RPS.

But first, lets have a little game. Or rather, a big game. Because to win at Sumo, you need to be big, strong, and heavy enough for talking scales to say One at a Time, Please.

The rules are very simple. What our robots have to do is stay in the sumo ring as long as possible. The ring has raised edges with gaps, so a robot can only be pushed out through those gaps (like Techno Games). But beware, their oppodent is Jakamoko 2. And he doesnt take kindly to robots.

                  LET THE TRIALS BEGIN.

The first competitor to have a go with Jakamoko is SD IV. This robot, partly based on Tornado, is all about push. The skirts will be handy for preventing Jakamoko from getting underneath. Its cutting saw, a very dangerous weapon, has been removed because, after all, this is all about pushing. Its scoops should make up for that though.

                  ROBOTEERS, STAND BY.

The time limit, BTW, is one minute

                  3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

Sumo is really less damaging than other trials because its pushing, not destroying, thats why Im doing this. Anyway, SDIV is moving to the side of Jakamoko 2, pushing on the side...OH, but it just knocks it against a rail. The armadillo shaped robot gets away, and comes front on front with SDIV. OH, STRAIGHT UP THE SCOOP! Oh, sorry, didnt I tell you that the scoop of Jakamoko gives it 0 ground clearance up front? Didnt I tell you that its ultra thin and thus really low? HAH HAH! TOO LATE NOW! SDIV is in trouble...oh, no its not. Its pushing back with incredible power! And its a stalemate. Neither robot is getting the upper hand.

                  CEASE!

AND THE SUMO ROUND IS OVER. SD IV HAS SURVIVED THE FULL MINUTE!

                    Dinowarrior Destruction

Welcome back to Dinowarrior Destruction. Whos up for round 2?
*Silence, bar the chirping of crickets*
                    Round 2 of killing robots?
                    *Even the crickets stop*
Well tough, its coming right now! LET THE SECOND ROUND BEGIN!

First back in the ring is the spinning Angel of the Abyss. He certainly proved himself as destructive in his first round battle, now lets see if he can go the distance.
And in comes his oppodent, Fantasy Robotica champion Marabunta. He looks strong and robust, but suffered a worry or two in his first battle. Can he do well here though?

                    ROBOTEERS STAND BY

In the arena for the House Robots are Leprosy Infection and Die-ro!

                    3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

Angel of the Abyss starts spinning up to speed, Marabunta charges in quickly. He knows that AotA can spin up very quickly and that it is almost invincible when spinning at full throttle. He needs to finish it quickly. In comes Marabunta...OH, DEFLECTED AWAY BY ANGEL OF THE ABYSS! Is Marabunta damaged in any away? Counting internally? Well, it appears to be OK thus far, but it charges back towards Angel of the Abyss, spinning wildly. Up goes the arm...but it makes no difference! AotA deflects the blow AGAIN! Poor Marabunta. Now it is covered in scratches, and the arm doesnt appear to be working propably. Surely this is a case of when, not if? Surely its a question of survival now! Angel of the Abyss comes in...OH, ITS TORN SOMETHING OFF! A SIDE PANEL! NOT MUCH, BUT IT SHOWS THE DESTRUCTIVE FORCE OF ANGEL OF THE ABYSS! Marabunta cant do anything. It isnt doing anything. Its out. Surely. Crash Bandi-bot has a check. So to does Leprosy Infection. It spins its drum, as Crash Bandi-bot does the famous countdown to oblivion. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. AND THATS IT! Marabunta, the Fantasy Robotica champion, has gone out of the Dinowarrior Destruction. Leprosy Infection hits! OH, WHAT POWER! Poor Marabunta is knocked over, and paintwork is torn off. In comes Die-ro, with the flamethrower, scorching the underbelly. Using his wedge shape to push Marabunta onto the drop zone. Its a cooker. Down it comes. CRASH! THE COOKER SMASHES, MARABUNTA REMAINS INTACT, but it still goes out.

                    CEASE!

Angel of the Abyss goes through.

Er... dont take this as an offence, because its purely a questioning statment, but wasnt this meant to take precedent over your seeds championship?

It is, but Ive hardly had time to do either or because of exams. I just did the seeds Championship because it was lower down the list.

Thankfully, Ive got a day off, so the next battle should be later today.

Welcome back to Dinowarrior Destruction. Were ready for the next two robots to enter the ring

                              RPS vs Wedge Devolution

House robots are Smudge Revamped and the bad boy himself, the king of the DD House Robots, Fluffitor 3n a lil bit more.

                              3...2...1...ACTIVATE!

And off they go! RPS surely MUST be the underdog going into this battle, as Wedge Devolution comes in, dodging the scoop and sliding under the side. I know RPS is low, but Wedge is lower still. The axe swings, but to no avail. Wedge drives RPS towards the wall...and flips! But RPS doesnt go out. It goes straight into Smudge Revampeds jaws! Thats worse, surely? Smudge Revamped drives RPS towards the other end of the arena, where Fluffitor 3n a lil bit more is waiting, with the drill on the arm, and something I didnt tell you about! (You thought I would let you get away THAT easily? HAH! Think again) Two shredder style discs, only bigger and faster. RPS is stranded between each disc, they can damage ANYTHING! Ive tested it on ANYTHING! It busted ANYTHING! Down comes the drill, making a nice hole. Poor RPS. It is pushed back by Fluffitor, where Wedge Devo is waiting...OH, AND WEDGE DEVOLUTION FLIPS RPS OUT OF THE ARENA! ITS OVER! Poor RPS never stood a chance.

                              CEASE!!!

And Wedge Devolution is the winner.

And here is the line-up for the final

ANGEL OF THE ABYSS VS WEDGE DEVOLUTION

The sooner these stupid exams are over the better. Im having to revise all day, and hardly any time to write battles.

Ill try to pull up one in here and the Seeds Championship this weekend.
