I knew they were called A40-300s, I told you that when it happened, hehe ;P I've just been too endemically lazy to update all the stats pages to reflect that.
Your first point's decent although I don't know about Wedginator having the more controlled drive as there's nothing saying I need to use the top speed ;P and the range of angles would be a bit bigger than directly head on, then there's the skirts...your second point about the skirts not being 100% is fair enough though. The third point I would argue since there's a *big* difference between adding a bit of ballast to keep the front weighed down at the calculated expense of some traction, and what the issue with Envy was which was that the shape itself was inherently quite badly balanced more so than adding ballast to a normal robot would have managed.
Anyway, let's settle this in the arena ^^ hehe
