Joey sez: There's only one way this could go. SMIDSY has nice sides. (Tira)
Heat K Final
SMIDSY (21) vs. Tira VI
SMIDSY, sadly, didn't last long. After nearly getting flipped over, Tira hunted it to the arena wall and smashed it a few times trying to get it out. Tira backed off for another attempt, but noticed SMIDSY wasn't moving (and was smoking pretty badly) so it backed off as with Maelstrom. Tira did however have a massive go at Dead Metal so it would leave SMIDSY alone, and after several blows and attempts by Shunt to get Tira to stop, Dead Metal was overturned. Tira then went after Shunt, but CEASE was called.

Heat L Round 1
Grim Reaper (10) vs. Hydra vs. Shredder Evilution vs. Super Gore Septua
Hydra came out strong at first, flipping everybody around but the seeded machine, but then Grim Reaper and Super Gore teamed up on the Hydra machine, and Grim Reaper stacked it against the wall in the late-going and flipped it out. Shredder was having reliability problems ever since Hydra attacked it, and it lost the judges decision heavily.
Lightning (23) vs. Tenderizer's Revenge 2 vs. Anarchy vs. Quaestor III
Joey full-on refused to attack Anarchy, so they teamed up. :P This prompted Lightning and Tenderizer's Revenge to team up as well. This didn't work out so well for the seeded machine, as Quaestor dominated Lightning, flipped it over, and proceeded to hammer the everloving crap out of it! Lightning were quickly immobilized, and Tenderizer's Revenge was set upon. Best despite his best efforts, Richard couldn't keep up with the duo and he was pitted, shockingly enough by Anarchy itself.

A simple clamping and pitting was the case here. Grim Reaper were caught almost immediately, brought to the pit release button, and were dumped in. Very quick.
Super Gore Septua vs. Anarchy
Anarchy were attacked from the side and could not get any real attack going. However due to its weight Super Gore was unable to push it properly anywhere. Super Gore only got Anarchy once to a CPZ where Sgt. Bash torched it for a while... before Anarchy flipped it over! And then the match ended! Super Gore won the boring match.

Super Gore was rendered completely ineffective against Quaestor III and was consequentially rammed, axed, and flipped all around the arena. Unusual tactics for Joey, but maybe he was angry that Anarchy was defeated. Whatever the case, Super Gore was a smoking wreck by the time Quaestor clamped and pitted it.

Bulldog Breed ( vs. Exertion II vs. Hypno-Disc vs. Gabriel V
Well Bulldog Breed went right after Hypno-Disc from the get-go. Exertion did as well. Hypno-Disc for the most part managed to evade them pretty well and get some great shots on Bulldog Breed, denting up the flipper. They were tiring though, when Exertion shoved Hypno-Disc up against the wall and stopped the disc. Gabriel then made a major appearance by wedging both of them and firing the flipper. This resulted in Hypno-Disc being sent bouncing off the wall, and Exertion thrown overtop of Hypno-Disc during this, and stacked on its side! They tried to use the lifting wedge to push themselves off the wall, but no go, and Exertion was dead in the water. Bulldog Breed then tried to capitalize on Hypno-Disc's fatigue but they were having flipper problems. Gabriel decided to take advantage of this, and went after Bulldog Breed, and flipped it over. Bulldog Breed failed to self-right and was counted out.
Meggamouse (25) vs. Thor vs. LowDown vs. Disco 5
Rather ridiculous match, this. Meggamouse hid behind LowDown for the majority of the match, while LowDown attacked Thor. Thor's hammer came smashing down on top of LowDown several times, but unlike Quaestor vs. Super Gore, it did absolutely nothing. LowDown shoved Thor all around the arena. Disco 5 tried to attack Meggamouse but were having problems driving around. Sensing weakness, the 25th seed went to attack Disco but failed to get under Disco 5's exceedingly low ground clearance. However, within a few rams Disco 5 became totally grounded and could not move. Meggamouse then joined LowDown in attacking Thor and got some good flips in the end. The judges decision saw the hammer fall on Thor.
