    After a short period of waiting, I have returned with a new tourney...


    VRW Series 4

    After 3 series of competition, It's time for another battle! 47 bots, (now) 10 seeds, and 1 grand champion are all that stand in our competitors' ways.

    Season 1 was promising, but died. Series 2 was no better...

    But Season 3 was a war to remember, with Whiplash beating Storm 2 in a close judges' decision.

    Jump around, jump on everybody's heads, destroy, and call it a day.

    Maximum Genocide (6) vs Firestorm V vs 259 vs Blue Hurricane

    Too many spinners...259 to definitely go, and Blue Hurricane to join it.

    Storm II (2) vs Boxx vs Terra the 2nd vs Gravity 5

    ...Gravity 5 doesn't exist. Not in this universe, anyway, only Gravity 4.5. If it does, then attack it with mah liftin ARM. Do the same to bOxX as well.

    Brutalis 2.1 (7) vs Hyper Death IC vs Mythras vs Plunderbird 5

    Drive around, crash into stuff, possibly attack the new IC thing and Mythras, go out singin' and with style.

        I don't get it. Eh, tactics won't change because they're too vague anyway. :P

          I fixed it again.

          EDIT: And scratch that part about tactics: They aren't needed. As a matter of fact, I'm about to create the first battle. However, predictions are welcome.

            VRW 4!!!

            And now, time for our first match!!!

            First, however, let's remind our viewers about our arena... An arena with 10cm high walls, and 1m high corners. There's a pit, 2 CPZs, and a Refbot, so its relatively simple.

            Now let's get to the action!

            Entered by Samuel Park, seed number 1, Whiplash!!!

            Whiplash is a dangerous machine with a powerful axe and a tough shell. However, it has a low gas capacity, and if it wasn't for our judges, it wouldn't be here today...

            (Shows flashback) And last season they were newcomers, As it immobilized Iron Awe 5, Defeated Maximum Genocide on a judges' decision, defeated Apocalypse II, and finally won a judges' decision against Storm II in the final.

            Entered by Harry Orr, Iron Awe 5!!!

            Iron Awe 5 is by far one of the best realies with very tough armour. However, no shockproofing leaves it very vulnerable, as Kody Kunz found out last time!

            (Shows Flashback) And last season, they were up against: Whiplash! Due to the flipper and axe colliding, Iron Awe wasn't able to survive some tough battering from the now-champion. Here's their chance for revenge!

            (Shows other flashback) And in series 2, they performed better, defeating Granny's Revenge and Axe Awe in round 1, flipping Stealth OOTA in round 2, and defeating Terrorhurtz in the heat final. However, it was then pitted in round 1 of the semis by Dave Sheppard's Blatant Clone.

            Entered by Kody Kunz, Starfire the 4th!!!

            Starfire the 4th is an innovative robot going all the way back to VRW1. However, with an actuated arm and spinning disc, with Starfire reign again?

            (Shows Flashback) And in series 1 it was up against Warlord, Collateral Damage, and Sun of Rippo. Though it pitted Warlord, it itself was pitted by Collateral Damage!!!

            A powerful axlebot with a scoop and spinning shell, Elizabeth might do better then her great-grandfather Henry VIII!

            (Shows Flashback) And in series 1, as Henry VIII, it was up against more of Liam's bots. It was pitted early on by now-5th seed System Shock!

            And our house robots for this opening fight will be Magnavox, the televised menace, and following in its footsteps, we have Gripper.

            3..2..1..Activate!!!

            Has this started too early? Like it or not, it's begun . And out comes the first seed, charging towards Starfire, who is retreating towards Iron Awe 5. Elizabeth is staying out of things for the moment, as IA5 fires the flipper underneath Starfire, launching the veteran into the air. As Starfire gets one heck of a headache, Elizabeth has entered the fray, causing some scars to IA5's hardox armour. From what I can tell, it's only cosmetic, as it flips Elizabeth into the air, sending it crashing down on top of the now moving Starfire. Smoke can be seen coming out of Elizabeth, as the spinning shell stops. It hasn't given up the ghost yet however, as it rams into Whiplash. The champ retaliates with a mighty axe blow on top of the Queen's immobile shell, as Starfire's arm slowly moves. We haven't seen much of that disc until now, as it crashes into Whiplash, ripping one of the skirts away! Iron Awe 5 uses the ripped away skirt to its advantage, as Whiplash is flipped onto its side. Meanwhile, The Guardian comes out, and prepares to count out the seemingly immobile Elizabeth.
            1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10!
            And apparently that flip from IA5 was too much for it, as Elizabeth is now picked up by Magnavox, who moves over to the empty CPZ with the pit trigger and presses it. The siren rings as the Barberous-shaped queen is dethroned into the pit. Meanwhile, Whiplash has self-righted, and retaliates against IA5 by axeing the flipper. As we know this is how IA5 died last time, and its how it'll die this time, as it ceases movement! Whiplash's right drive appears to be jammed up, but IA5 is moving slowly, slowly, and now not at all! As The Guardian comes over to count out IA5, Starfire hits Whiplash on the right side, as the drive frees itself up again! But anyways, it's too late for IA5...
            1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10!
            As Starfire and Whiplash tussle, IA5 is dropped into the pit on top of Elizabeth.

            CEASE!!!

            Elizabeth dethroned, and Iron Awe 5 turned into plastic...

            WHIPLASH (1) AND STARFIRE THE 4TH MOVE ON TO ROUND 2!!!

              Arena - 10cm high walls?! That's worse than UTATYA I can ram an opponent OOTA easily.

              Fight - Eh, not too bad. Do try to make it longer though.

                  Alright everyone, It's on to round 2.

                  A unique robot with a Melty Brain control system and a spinning blade. Though they aren't the champions, it has seen action in the past...

                  (Shows Flashback) and last series they went up against Tornado in round 1, and destroyed it, only to meet Whiplash in the heat final, where it lost on a very, very, very close judges' decision.

                  A dangerous robot with lots of experience, they have a low pressure front-hinged flipper, but that light aluminum armour might not hold up against a powerful disc.

                  Entered by Jack Orr, 259!!!

                  An equally dangerous robot with a very deadly spinning blade and lots of experience, however it has absolutely no srimech!!!

                  Entered by Samuel Park, Blue Hurricane!!!

                  A very deadly machine with a spinning rim, Blue Hurricane has not only experience, but also invertibility and a bad first impression!

                  (Shows Flashback) And in series 3 they were up against Apocalypse II, who managed to beat him after a tough match and a judges' decision.

                  And today for house robots we have Major Damage, the 1 tonne wonder, and a last minute house robot: Team Mutant Robots' 374kg robot, Gearcrow!!!

                  3..2..1..Activate!!!

                  Immediately, we see the 6th seed spinning up to full power, as Firestorm 5 comes in and immediately flips 259 upside-down! 259's disc digs up the arena wall, as Jack carries himself over the wall and onto the camera tracks below! Meanwhile, Maximum Genocide is shoving Blue Hurricane around, and causing some serious damage to Blue Hurricane's armor. Blue Hurricane is now shoved into Gearcrow's CPZ, as the powerful crushing jaws apply lethal force to Blue Hurricane's armor. I can see some dents to Blue Hurricane's armor, as Maximum Genocide puts out a massive blow on Firestorm! The blow immediately rips away the left wheel guard, as Firestorm ceases to move. However, before Firestorm is about to be counted out, Gearcrow exits his CPZ and, using the jaws, dumps Blue Hurricane OOTA before The Guardian can even get into play! The Guardian lands, as the counter totally turns yellow, giving Gearcrow a yellow card!

                  While that was a short fight, 259 is out in less then 2.59 seconds, while Blue Hurricane won't be whipping up a storm anytime soon...

                  MAXIMUM GENOCIDE (6) AND FIRESTORM 5 MOVE ON TO ROUND 2!!!

                        ...so strange house robot thing arbitrarily eliminating a robot that had been doing alright is perfectly okay, because it gets a yellow card?

                        That doesn't make the intervention any less unfair on Sam...

                              Hmm... I have 4WD and Firestorm has only 2WD, so I will open the pit first of all, avoid the front like there is no tomorrow, and get underneath the sides or back, and hack it to death and pit it.
