My first tournament w.a.r

ITS BACK!!!

Jack: Hello! And welcome to yet another episode of W.A.R!

# Massive amount of cheering from the crowd #

Jack: oh yes! As the sun sets on a pleasant, lovelyâ‚¬Â¦ BORING day of peace and quiet the dawn of a new battle can be seen! Weâ‚¬â„¢ve got three more Gladiators ready to fight till the death today so Harry, what do you think the outcome will be?

Harry: Well Jack we have 3 very good bots here today, 2 of which (Cobalt and back to rock 111) have similar designs, both have disks in the front and lifting devises, although Cobalts is a self righting arm. Compression is a bit like Kan opener but has some barbs and a hinged wedge at the front, back to rock has 6wd which is good, lots of pushing power but reduces his maneuverability, and the claws on Compression provide lots of damage but if the claws go whatâ‚¬â„¢s left? Cobalt has a very cool saw blade for shredding other bots but with 2wd pushing power is limited. Got to be back to rock 111 for me but who knows, anything can happen.

Jack: cheers mate, now to our commentator Tom Shortt!

Tom: Hi Jack, well today we have an interesting line up!

This is Cobalt a box wedge with a circular saw the shreds opponents; it also has a self righting arm.

This bot is called compression, from above it looks like a triangle; what would be the flat end is the front. It has these Kan opener style crushing claws and a hinged wedge with barbs to help the claws.

Last but not least is back to rock 111, it is a very odd shape, at the front it has a behemoth style scoop and at the rear it has a rounded rectangle, itâ‚¬â„¢s weapon is a flipper that has a spinning disk embedded in itâ‚¬Â¦ cool!

ACTIVATE!

Back to rock charges at cobalt and gets underneath it, he flipsâ‚¬Â¦

FA-LIP!

GRIND!

BASH!

Whoa! Cobalt is flippedâ‚¬Â¦then sliced and sent crashing back down to earth, but only a small gash can be seen! Compression comes inn and clamps Back to rock from behind!

RRRRRIIIIIPPPP!

Ouch! The claws dig into the shell, but back to rock seems okâ‚¬Â¦ whoa in fact heâ‚¬â„¢s better than ever! Getting under compression and lifting him upâ‚¬Â¦

GRIND!

Ooooh! A nice wide gash in the base of compression! In comes Cobalt now disk whirring!

BANG!

Compression goes flyingâ‚¬Â¦oh my word the lid has flown off!!! Well thatâ‚¬â„¢s impressive! No life left in compression! Cobaltâ‚¬â„¢s disk is getting up to speed, he goes in for the killâ‚¬Â¦

BANG!

Innards go everywhere as compression gets trashed!

Meanwhile back to rock has been biding his time; finally he comes in and flips cobalt over! But cobalt self rights! In the background dead metal grinds at compression and sgt bash gives it the torch!

Cobalt hits the pit release button, back to rock almost fell in but steers away, cobalt sees his chance and slams into the side of back to rock!

BANG!

Wooo! Lots of sparks! But only a small dent! Back to rock gets round the back of cobalt andâ‚¬Â¦

Cobalt goes skidding across the arena, back to rock goes chasing after him andâ‚¬Â¦

CLANG!

Cobalt is pushed into the pit! Smoke bellows out of the bottomless hole, so back to rock 111 goes through! Back to you jack!

Jack: Thanks Tom, well youâ‚¬â„¢ve seen it here folks, now get back into the shed and start building! Weâ‚¬â„¢ll see you ext time onâ‚¬Â¦W.A.R!

Oh yes, the mother of all robot combat shows is back for yet anouther dose of carnage!

Jack: hello fans!

*croud cheers*

*guy with beer falls asleep*

Jack: today 3 more robotic rebels take to the arena, so, harry, whatâ‚¬â„¢s your viewâ‚¬Â¦

Harry: well jack today is a day for inventive designs! Heliosa xtreme is a t shaped robot with what would be the flat bit as the front, the wheels are located in the front and the wedge + skirts make it almost impossible to get under it. The weapon is a pneumatic flipper.

Hypertension is a wedge shaped robot with a powerful pneumatic flipper, hypertension can make any robot nervous!!!

And now for one of the most well designed robots I have ever seen, walk donâ‚¬â„¢t run uses 4 shuffler pads as locomotion which means that he can weigh 110 kg rather than 100kg. An horizontal spinning blade packs a punch to say the least!!!

Looking at the stats I would have to say that hypertension is the favourite but mehâ‚¬Â¦ anything can happen!

Tom: thanks jack, heliosa xtreme is driven by ben, hypertension is driven by matty,walk donâ‚¬â„¢t run is driven by Sam.

Hypertension wizzâ‚¬â„¢s across the arena and trys to flip heliosa xtream, but the skirts make it impossible to get under him. W.D.R is shufferling quickly towards hypertension who appears to be beached on heliosaâ‚¬â„¢s wedge andâ‚¬Â¦

RRRRRRRIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPP!!!

Ooh! A nice gauge in the side of hypertension , but that blow seems to have not hurt hypertension to much, actually it has nocked it off heliosaâ‚¬â„¢s wedge! But now WDR is aiming at hypertension againâ‚¬Â¦

Gggggggrrrrrrrâ‚¬Â¦bonk!

Whoa! WDR tried to smash hypertension but got a flip instead, matty seeâ‚¬â„¢s his chance andâ‚¬Â¦

FFFLLLIIIPPP!

WDR is stuck against the side wallâ‚¬Â¦hypertension comes in againâ‚¬Â¦

FLIP!!!

Ohhh! WDR is teeteringâ‚¬Â¦tottering andâ‚¬Â¦

Plonk!

OOTA! YAY! Hypertension does a victory spin but ooh! Heliosa smashâ‚¬â„¢s into him andâ‚¬Â¦ whats that on the floor? ITS A REMOVABLE LINK!!! No life is left in hypertension, Matty is looking crestfallen up in the box but there is nothing he can do the refbot comes inâ‚¬Â¦

The red light is shown to hypertension and out comes ohhh! Mr psycho! And sir killalot! AND matilda! Mr psycho gives it the hammer and matilda flips it with her tusks (heliosa opens pit!) wwwwwoooooo!!! The pit descends! Oooh! Matilda SMASHâ‚¬â„¢S hypertension with her flywheel! Bits cascade everywhere! Sir killalot picks up the lifeless creation and doesâ‚¬Â¦ a dance very similar to Saturday night fever! And chucks hypertension into the pit! Butâ‚¬Â¦ whats heliosa doing? Heâ‚¬â„¢sâ‚¬Â¦heâ‚¬â„¢s FLIPPING MATILDA! Oh no sir k wont like that!

CEASE!

Well heliosa was certainly saved by the bell there!!! Back to you Jack!

Jack: thanks tom, well that was a BRILLIANT fight guys! Keep the robots coming!

So the 10 became 11!!! Oh well 259 charges at scarygoround who is just getting up to speed, the toys/teeth whirring and making the whole robot a blur!

WIZZ!!!!

SMASH!

Ooh! 259 smashâ‚¬â„¢s scarygoround into unconscious! I think that blow k.oâ‚¬â„¢d him!!! Meanwhile plunderbird gets a hit from Matildaâ‚¬â„¢s flywheel!

BANG!!!

Ooh! A nice chunk is visible in plunderbirds side!!! But he races away! Pussycat is taking on sir killalot!

RIP!!!

Ouch that must have hurâ‚¬Â¦ oh my lord! Sir killalotâ‚¬â„¢s track has snapped off!!! Well that will need repairing! Now the beer keg is scooped up by behemoth

FA-LIP!

And over he goes! Oh but he rolls back onto his wheelâ‚¬â„¢s! now vader goes for hypnodisk

SMASH!!!

WOAH! Vaderâ‚¬â„¢s disk has FLOWN OFF! Obviously vertical doesnâ‚¬â„¢t like horizontal!!! Hypnodisk seemâ‚¬â„¢s fine but is now under attack from pussycat

SLICE!!!

Oh! there goes hypnodiskâ‚¬â„¢s removable link! Heâ‚¬â„¢s out of here!

Meanwhile scarygoround is counted out by the refbot!

8â‚¬Â¦9â‚¬Â¦10!!!

Now chaos 2 is having a brilliant fight with firestorm 4 and the saint! Over comes the axe of the saint making a nice gash in firestorm who then gets a flip from chaosâ‚¬Â¦ oh! Out the arena goes firestorm! The saintâ‚¬â„¢s axe crashâ‚¬â„¢s down but has little or no effect!

Behemoth and pussycat attack beer keg! Ooohh! A slice is nice! The lid flyâ‚¬â„¢s off beer keg! But heâ‚¬â„¢s still mobile!

Plunderbird is still taking damage from matilda but I still think thereâ‚¬â„¢s life! Oh! He tryâ‚¬â„¢s to crush matilda! And in doing so I think he has freed himself from her grasp! (in the background vader and hypnodisk are being counted out.).

Mr psycho has plucked up scarygoround and dumpâ‚¬â„¢s him in the pit!!!

259 is making some nice gashâ‚¬â„¢s in the beer kegâ‚¬â„¢s lid (aka the beer keg!) but seems to be getting low on battery power!

Behemoth is shoving beer keg towards the pit andâ‚¬Â¦ down in a puff of smoke! But pussycat comes in andâ‚¬Â¦ behemoth is out of here! Down the pit he goes!

259 is dead, he ran out of battery power, mr psycho picks him up and drops him out the arena!

Chaos 2 is still fighting the saint, the saint tries spinning but is caught by chaos 2 andâ‚¬Â¦OOTA!

So 2 robots remainâ‚¬Â¦ chaos 2 and plunderbird 4, plunderbird runs awayâ‚¬Â¦ and chaos 2 follows but it seems that is what plunderbird wanted and he gets round the back of chaos

GRIP!!!

Oh!!! He punctures the co2 bottle! No more flips for chaos 2! Now plunderbird doesnâ‚¬â„¢t fear that he charges at chaos and pushâ‚¬â„¢s him towards the pit and in!!!

Jack: So after being trapped by matilda for most of the fight plunderbird 4 reignâ‚¬â„¢s supreme, weâ‚¬â„¢ll see you next time onâ‚¬Â¦WAR

sorry if this is being a bit slow...i hope to have the next fight up before Tuesday...i would have it up earlier but im going to ayelsbury on Sunday and i need to get my robots fixed today...still...i love fan-fic so i will try to get the fights up a.s.a.p, k???

Thank goodness! A new fight! considering the fact that the only new fight was the 3rd Place play-off for my very own VRW Series 3.

Mark, i dont know how many times we have to tell you, we *looks around at fellow vapour enthusiasts* cant post fights every day, in fact i can barely manage 1 or 2 a month, we have lives outside this forum, i cannot be on here 24/7 writing battles or stats...it takes a long time to write a fight or make a decent vapour you know

im trying to say this in the nicest possible way but tbh there really isn't a much nicer way of putting it.

i love vapour's but i cant post a fight every day, my advice to you mark would be: to go back through old threads and look where you went wrong, AND get some patience, it will not only come in useful on this forum but in other aspects of life as well
