      So be it then

      Razer

      Style: 1: Their style was to drag Tornado around with the hook on the end of the beak rather than crush it, but this only worked at the end of the fight

      Control: 2: They did have control of Tornado for a while, escpecially at the end of the fight, but not much, I think

      Damage: 1: They bent Tornados frame a bit, but no real damage

      Aggression: 1: Tornados frame stopped it doing anything really

      Total: 5

      Tornado

      Style: 3: The cage kept Razers beak away from the robot itself, apart from the end, and ramming Razer into the wall was a good tactic

      Control: 3: Tornado had control for the majority of the fight

      Damage: 2: Just damage to the armour and Im sure the spinning disc would have made a few dents, but the hook on Razers beak was out of action by the middle of the fight

      Aggression: 3: Pushed Razer into the wall, the house robots

      Total: 11

      When I first watched this fight on BBC many years ago, I wanted Razer to win and I thought when it had Tornado over the pit, would have won.

      This is what my judging system says. What do you think?

          I say Anarchy should have won series 6, that machine was so awesome in so many ways

          Lots of people use lots of different judging systems on these boards though, to my knowledge nobody has ever complained about a system in itself being unfair. So Id use whatever you see fit to use...

                Meh, you have to fix up the problems with existing tournaments before I enter any future tournaments you post, ELLIOT. Not trying to be a bother but you really need to improve. Sadly due to circumstances beyond my control (:P) I cant be the one to help you improve at the moment, but just ask Joey and Martijn for help. Behind Joeys slightly cynical tone and Martijns humourous exterior...well...never mind. Theyre extremely friendly and helpful people and thats all you really need to know about them. Unlike me. Im a grouchy git, lol :P

                  I think Ill keep my focus to real robots for a while

                  Ill do Spawn Again and Panic Attack again

                  3-2-1: Activate!

                  At 20mph, Spawn Again is the fastest and thats an advantage! Getting in under Panic Attack and FLIPPING the former champion over! Panic Attack cant do anything about that, though. Spawn Again comes in from the side and ALMOST gets Panic Attack out! Panic Attack stuck on the wall, similar to Extreme when it fought Firestorm. Refbot comes in, but Spawn Again flips Panic Attack free! Panic Attack turns to get around the side of Spawn Again and gets under. Lifting Spawn Again up and taking it over to the CPZ! Matildas waiting, and she turns towards Spawn Again. OUCH! That must have hurt for Spawn Again, but no visible damage from Matildas flywheel! A couple of scratches, but Panic Attack lifts it up again. Matilda comes in again with the flywheel and OHH! The top of Panic Attack that used to be the self-righting mechanism has almost been prised off! Spawn Again gets away, pushing Matilda to one side. Sir Killalot wont be happy! He comes over and lifts Panic Attack up instead! Spawn Again turns and tries to flip Sir Killalot over! Matilda comes in again and Spawn Again goes flying onto its top! It self-rights using the flipper, though. Sir Killalot drops Panic Attack back to earth again, and Spawn Again comes in. Panic Attack tries to get away but Spawn Again pushes it into the corner again and OVER it goes, but not out! Panic Attack has been mightily handicapped out there, by the house robots. Refbot comes in and he counts Panic Attack out.
                  1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!
                  Spawn Again comes in for the final kill and OUT goes Panic Attack! Spawn Again the winner and they go into the next round!

                  Cease!

                  Spawn Again is the winner!

                      Hmm...the detail level has definitely improved since your first fights, so good work with that...my main problem with the fight though is like I said before, all Spawn Again would have had to do was flip PA over once and I really dont think most roboteers would risk letting PA back into the fight like you had Spawn Again do, getting your opponents OOTA is nice but it is in no way necessary to win the fight :P
                      The only time I can think of when something similar happened was X-Terminator 3 vs. Tsunami, and that had odd circumstances surrounding it (mainly that XT3 was stacked on the wall).

                      I was also a little aggrieved that in FRFFT I posted tactics for the BIACS-IS fight that you proceeded to ignore, and from the posts of Lewis and Kody I hate to say it but I suspect that this is something of a habit with you...
                      Basically a little more common sense would be good, read the tactics and understand that when someone says they will not hit a robot when its disc is showing, you are not to have that person slam their disc straight into the other robots disc until it breaks, and you will be back on track I think.

                        Not to bump this thread or anything, but I want to get my new bot checked. Basically its my take on Psyclonizer.

                        Walk Dont Run - Platinum Edition (Replacing Walk Dont Run 5)

                        Weight: 110kg (Shuffler)
                        Shape: Disc
                        Colour: Green for the weapon, and Platinum for the Base and Top
                        Dimensions: 105 X 105 X 20
                        Power: 2 X Bosch 750s @ 36v, powered by several NiCad Batteries, shock-proofed with urethane rubber. The battery packs have polycarb cell holders to prevent it from killing itself.
                        Feet: 4 X Shuffling Pads, with Asmaprene Urethane Rubber on it for grip across the arena.
                        Armour: 7mm Ti/V alloy for top and bottom, and 6mm Hardox for the weapon.
                        Speed: Roughly 10 mph
                        Ground Clearence: 6mm Everywhere. It has to be.
                        Turning Circle: Zero, as always.
                        Weapon: The weapon is a combination of Gyrobots ring spinner and Son of Whyachis cage spinner. A nice 32kg ring spinner with 3 X Son of Whyachi-style hammers, powered by a LEM-170 and spinning at 2300RPM. This speed can be reached in 2.5 seconds. The spinner can deliver some serious damage, and I mean SERIOUS damage. It could even K.O another opponent through shock damage. The motor mount is shock-proofed with urethane rubber to stop it from killing itself. (Of course, shock proofing the whole thing is out of the question :P)
                        Srimech: Invertible, duh.
                        Strengths: Everything.
                        Weaknesses: A bit slow.

                          Few issues here...

                          Batteries: I dont know if polycarb cell holders would protect the batteries from impacts; polycarbonate is quite stiff (thats why Killerhurtz and Terrorhurtz are almost completely made of it ).
                          To be honest youre better off just stating it has shock proofing inside, having foam around the batteries and slack wires would probably be a bit better (insulating the entire pack rather than, say, just the cells). I could be wrong here of course.

                          Bosches are comparatively heavy (3.8kg for one) compared to other motors you could use, LEM130s weigh 3kg and provide more peak power, Mags are around the same (although theyre a bit risky on 36v) and even Littons would weigh less than Bosches and do roughly the same on 36v.

                          As for the weapon...SERIOUS damage...how serious? Even though its purely theoretical, the Team Cosmos calculator provides a good indication of the damage something would do. (just run the ring part through the calc and treat the hammers as extremely big teeth). Also Id like to see how you get to full speed in 2.5 secs, spinup times have been a black art to me for some time but that still sounds suspect :P

                          Otherwise good, and nicely in weight by the looks of it.

                              Hi,

                              Your robot is lacking a lot of detail. What diameter is the disc? How many RPM? What is it's weight? I don't know Conquering Clown, so can you give a better description of the blade?

                                those stats look messed up on the new board but that doesnt stop it from being a deadly bot, a bit much Psyclo and a bit lacking in details
