Revolver VS Tax Cutter

Our House Robots are Mr Physco and Cassius Chrome

3-2-1-Activate!

And Tax Cutter charges over to Revolver who is trying to get his disk up to speed,
Crash!
Tax Cutter has stopped the blade with only a small gash on the front, and that deadly axe is in line with one of revolvers wheels
Crunch!
the axe has missed the wheel and has punctured the body work, Revolver has broken free and the disk is now up to speed and revolver now moves towards Tax Cutter
Crash!
Tax Cutter manouvers out of the way and revolver hits the arena wall, and the disk doesnt seem to be moving, so Tax Cutter comes in and
Smash!
The axe has damaged the wheel of Revolver, who is now limping across the arena, bute the disk is working again, Tax Cutter comes in from behind
Crunch!
The other rear wheel is damaged but the disk
is up to top speed
Smash!
Tax Cutter got to near to the disk and has paid the price, hes been flung a good few metres across the arena, doing a complete roll, but lands on his wheels, a huge gash down the side now
Revolver is not moving and Tax Cutter has suffered the same fate, but who stopped moving first, and the judjes have given it to

Quite good for a first try Ben, keep it up

Although Revolver wouldnt have even put a gash in Tax Cutters 8mm hardox, however small. And in future people will want to know what criteria/points are given in the decision, head over to Robot SMASH!! Series 2: Recharged now if you want an idea, I just posted a fight with a decision.

Seems good to me, but that fight was waaaaaaaaaaay to short for it to be 12 seconds before the end, it wss more like a 30 second fight or something.

Drive vs Back With You

Our house roboots will be Mathilda and Dead Metal

3-2-1 Activate

Drive speeds towards Back To Rock and..
Slam!
The front spikes of Drive are stuck in the scoop of Back To Rock, meanwhile, With You has pressed the pit button, and Back to rock has lifted Drive into the air, and his heading towards the pit, its all over, Drives speed has been his downfall, hes in the pit, what a short battle, 17 seconds

Drive needs to take his driving test again

of course Im glad I won, but seeing youre a newcomer writer I shall give you some tips to improve further

your first 2 battles were good, alot better than your third one, is it because youre getting tired with this tournament? (a problem seen more often) if so, I strongly advise you NOT to start big tournaments soon (like 16 people, 8 robots). I know some battles can be short, but still, its not smart to take advantage of that too often, you wont learn much from writing battles like this.

Your first 2 battles were pretty nice though, try to write more like that and improve a bit.

ok, then I strongly advise you NOT to open a tournament containing more than 8 robots anytime soon, losing interest can dissapoint a LOT of people who were looking forward to a certain tournament

Final match of round 1

Puzzel vs Red Knight

Our house robots are Sgt Bash and Sir K

3-2-1 activate

Both robots move nervously towards each other, the Puzzel nips round the side of Red Knight, but the turret follows him, round and round, but now Puzzel reverses and spins round and
Flip!
Red Knight now on his back, in comes Puzzel pushing towards the wall and,
Flip!
On the fence, and hes still in, but on his side, Red Knight now has rolled onto his back and is self-righting but here comes Puzzel
Smash!
Red Knight has self-righted and Puzzel has smashed into the fence, hes now turning round, and hes fired his flipper
Smash!
the rams have been severed, the flipper is useless, and now hes being pushed towards Bash, but hes escaped, Red Knight is charging toward Puzzel
Smash!
Red Knight has driven over Puzzel and the arm has become lodged on the arena wall, in comes the Refbot
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Cease!
Its all over

Ziggy and Back to rock meet in the centre, Ziggy pushing Back to rock towards the wall, meanwhile With you has pushed the pit button, Hmm same tactics as last time it would seem, Back to rock slips away but now Ziggy has gone after With you and
Fa-Lip!
With you is heading OOTA, but wait, Back to rock has crept up behind Ziggy and pushed him into the pit.
Cease!

The Judges are just reviewing the footage, here are the results:

Puzzel vs Tax Cutter

Our house robots are Growler and Shunt

3-2-1 Activate!

Puzzel sets off towards Tax Cutter and down comes the axe
Crash!
the axe has missed and been impaled in the floor, Puzzel comes round the side and
Fa-lip
Tax Cutter is flung through the air, doing 2 complete rolls, Puzzel now coming in from the other side and
Fa-lip
another fantastic flip, Tax Cutter has been thrown right into the pit release, but he has landed on his wheels, but here comes Puzzel
Slam!
Puzzel crashes into Tax Cutter trying to push him towards Shunt, this is an absolute deadlock, but wait! Tax Cutter is pushing Puzzel towards the pit!, it may be slow progress, but it looks like its all over for Puzzel, he just cant escape, and just to add insult to injury, or should that be injury to insult, Tax Cutter has fired his axe and has made a huge slice in Puzzels flipper, but it seems to be stuck, Puzzel now teetering over the edge of the pit, he fires his flipper as a last desperate attempt to save himself

and its worked!, Puzzels flipper has flipped and swung Tax Cutter over himself using the connection made by Tax Cutters axe and into the pit, he may have followed Tax Cutter in but a win is a win, how unexpected

Tax Cutter needs to pay tax on some new parts
Puzzel is into the final
