The Tribute To The Tim Tribute Tournament

    Paul, the tournaments-

Ah, what the heck, you can come in as well as Dave. Liam, do you want a place while youre here?

I am actually amazed at the amount of people who seem to be taking this seriously...

      Eh, why not?

      War Drum

      Shape: Reverse wedge

      Dimensions: (with drum) 100 x 95 x 35
      Motivation: 2 x go-kart wheels
      Power: 2 x S28-400 magmotors at 24v, 12HP
      Armour: 3.25mm hardox
Weaponry: 25kg 20 x 95 x 35 hardox spinning drum, powered by 1 x LEM-200 at 48v, with 25HP and spins vertically so as to flip opponents, can be reversed if robot is flipped
      Top Speed: 15mph
Ground Clearance: 8mm at front and sides, effectively 0 at rear due to wedge
      Turning Circle: 0
      Srimech: Invertible
Colour: Black, red drum with yellow diagonal stripes
      Strengths: Powerful weaponry
Weaknesses: Exposed to flippers at sides

      Beta-Rex (previously Alpha-Rex)

Shape: Reverse wedge with rounded sides
      Weight: 100kg
      Dimensions: 95 x 90 x 35
      Motivation: 2 x go-kart wheels
      Power: 2 x B42-500s running at 60v, provides 60HP
Armour: 6mm titanium flipper, 4mm hardox front, sides and top, 4mm hi-grade 7075 aluminium base
Weaponry: 1000psi nitrogen flipper with 1 x 100mm ram, 2 x 3kg bottles provide the power. The flipper is T-Minus style, but the arm goes down the wedge allowing it to act as a front hinged flipper from the rear. 1600kg of flipping force!
      Top Speed: 25mph
Ground Clearance: Effectively 0 at front and back (flipper and wedge), 8mm on the sides behind the 5mm titanium skirts which make it effectively 0
      Turning Circle: 0
Srimech: The flipper can perform a 540 degree spin, and the sides are rounded to prevent beaching
      Colour: Gold
Notes: €œMWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!€ written on the bottom- one more HA than there was on Alpha-Rex
Strengths: Lots of HP, powerful flipper, can flip from front and rear
Weaknesses: Base armour could be stronger

            Minesweeper
            Weight: 100kg
            Shape: Tornado (S6)
Colour: Silver, with MINESWEEPER written on the sides.
            Dimensions: 91cm x 86cm x 25cm
Drive: 4x Bosch 750 motors, powered by 5x 36V NiCad Battlepacks.
Locomotion: 4 Titanium/Vanadium alloy wheels with Vulkanized rubber tyres.
            Armour: 6mm Hardox
            Speed: 17mph
Ground Clearance: 0mm at front and back due to scoops, and 0mm at sides with skirts (5mm at sides without skirts)
            Turning Circle: 0m
Weapon: 2 snowplow-like scoops, one at the front and one at the back. The scoops have a little bit of vertical mobility to give me 0mm ground clearance at the front and back without being stranded.
            Srimech: invertible

            Roveress
            Weight: 100kg
Shape: Growler, with a pink bow on top of his head.
Colour: Brown, with black and white splotches in some areas.
            Dimensions: 100cm x 70cm x 40cm
Drive: 4 S28-400 Magmotors, powered by 5x NiCad Battlepacks.
            Locomotion: 4 foam-filled wheels
            Armour: 7.1mm Titanium/Vanadium alloy
            Speed: 21mph
Ground Clearance: 0mm at front, 5mm at back, and 8mm at sides
            Turning Circle: 0m
Weapon: The bottom Jaw is shaped like a wedge, and fixed to where I have a 0mm ground clearance at the front. Once a robot is stuck on the wedge, which has Mute-style barbs on it, the top Jaw, powered by a 2kg 1000psi Nitrogen tank, comes down with 5 tonnes of force. The weapon is designed to clamp so I can pit them, not to damage them, although it can damage 5mm titanium.
Srimech: An electric lifting arm, powered by a Bosch drill motor. the sides of the robot are rounded to prevent stranding, and they can roll the robot back on its wheels.

Heres Nitro-Gene 4.0s partner in crime (Sly Cooper When the hell will we see that 4th game - come on Sucker Punch! Just forget inFamous, DO SLY 4! :blush

              KNYFE

              € WEIGHT: 100kg.

€ ARMOUR: 6mm Hardox monocoque on the rear, top, front and sides. 4mm Titanium on the base. Inside, I have 4cm of Vulkanised rubber to make sure its good when facing spinners.

€ SHAPE: An invertible box shape, with varing front ends. The sides and rear meet at a fine triangualar point

              € MOTORS: 2 x LEM200€™s at 48V = 50HP

              € LOCOMOTION: 6 Vulkanised Wheels.

              € DIMENSIONS: (L) 80CM (H) 30CM (W) 80CM

€ COLOUR: The body is silver with golden edges, and name on top with thck gold outlines for each letter

€ WEAPONRY: Knyfe has weaponry that can be changed around to suite the robots it is facing.
1: A standard concave scoop made from 15mm Hardox, impossible to bend or scratch, and perfect for stopping FBS€™
2: A pair of Hardox spikes with diamond-sharp tips. These spikes are on a hindge, and will flip over if the robot is flipped over, and because these spikes scrape the floor, it€™s impossible to get under it whilst using them.
3: Front wedges, mounted in a similar way to those on forklift trucks, reaching out 10cm, and made of 8mm G5 Titanium, and of course getting thinner as it reaches the end of the wedges. The point of these is to ground other robots on them, and make them easier to push without resistance.
4: A 10mm Titanium static scoop with an extension. This is for getting under other rammers.
5: A 15mm Hardox wedge hindged at 42* with an extension, perfect for deflecting vertical spinners and getting under other robots.

              € SPEED: 20mph

€ GROUND CLEARANCE: 0-8mm. The front will always be 0, and the sides and rear are protected by 7mm Titanium skirts on a rotary joint that joint at the hindges.

€ STRENGTH: Powerful drives and interchangeable weaponry.

€ WEAKNESS: Wheels might be targets for axes and crushers.

Tactics, predictions, and comments please, not that it matters at all.
