My first REAL tournament... ROBOBASH!!!!

I dont remember Daniel saying he would use the axe until he got my drum stopped near the arena wall, but w00t anyway.

Aftershock vs. Wedgas Revenge

This reminds me of Tira IIIs fight with Wedga in Returners, except this should be far easier than that time. Course who said its going to be even relatively easy now? :wink:

Wedgas flipper wont really help it here unless its at an arena wall with me on top,

so Ill just stay in the middle again and keep smacking him. I should be able to flip him over many times.
If at all he tries to rush in when the drum is stopped at that hit, show him my lovely spinning hubs.

The armour of Wedga is tough, but I think I should be able to get by.

Wedgas Revenge VS Aftershock

Wedgas Revenge got here by flicking Death Threat and Toby the T-Ram Engine out of the arena.

Aftershock got here by totally destroying the ex-champions of Robot Wars Extreme Warriors, Panzer Mk 4 and dismantling Supreme Glory Gamma.

Roboteers, Stand By!

Booth 1: Wedgas Revenge
Booth 2: Aftershock

3... 2... 1... ACTIVATE!

So, the heat final begins now. Aftershock spins away to its maximum speed, and Wedgas Revenge is moving towards Aftershock and activates its flipper!
FLIP!
OH! An unmerciful flip given to Aftershock, and now... Aftershock spins away to its maximum speed, and it hits Wedga on the rear end!
CRASH!!!
OH!!!!!! The wheel is absolutely shredded! Now, Wedga is overturned, but AJ self-rights the machine! Aftershock now...
CRASH!!!
...smashes the pit button AGAIN!!

How many times do you need to be reminded you only need to just nudge the button, not smash it?

Now, Aftershock is moving towards Wedga, who is limping on one wheel, and gets the flipper to activate... BEFORE AFTERSHOCK GETS ON IT!
CRASH!!!!!!
OHHH!!!! The CO2 tank bursts open! Now, Aftershock spins away again, and Wedga, I think, is immobile. Now, Aftershock hits the lifeless body of Wedga again!
CRASH!!!!!!
The drum has tipped Wedga over, and finally, AJ knows the end is nigh for Wedga, as it is tossed into the pit by Kody. BOOM!

CEASE!

Wedgas Revenge didnt get the revenge they needed.
Aftershock goes through to the Series Semi-Finals!

From Team Unkown, Psyclonised!

Psyclonized is a ring spinner like Gyrobot, and it is so deadly that it will melt your heart. Itâ‚¬â„¢s also quick and invertible, but as always, being invertible means that axes and crushers can find its tyres.

From Team Iron Diamond, Sithis!

Sithis is a four-wheel drive monster, with a 20kg spinning ring thatâ‚¬â„¢s powered by a E-Tek Motor. It can put out 80kJs at its maximum speed, 2000RPM.

From Team Dinowarrior, Obliteration!

Obliteration will obliterate you if you donâ‚¬â„¢t run away. Itâ‚¬â„¢s another ring spinner with a tip speed of 1000RPM. It can run both ways up but the wheels are exposed as always, and itâ‚¬â„¢s got 5mm ground clearence which means it will be food for those nasty flippers.

In the control booth, AJ and Danny are whispering to each other about the battle plan.

So, the spinning starts now! The three spinners spin up to full speed, with Danny and AJ teaming up and slams into Chris!
CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sparks are flying and so does Chris! Chris has crashed into the wall! Now, the three spins up again and crashes into each other with all their might!
CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris crashes into the wall again, but somethings wrong, this time. Chris is not spinning at all! Oh no! Now, Psyclonised is spinning up again, and hits Obliteration again!
CRASH!!!!
OH! The ring is shredded! Now, Sithis spins up to full speed ahead and crashes into the lifeless body of Chrisâ‚¬â„¢s machine!
CRASH!!
OH!!!! The ring is shredded more! Now, Obliteration is no more, and itâ‚¬â„¢s safe to say that this fight is already done. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,

Oblieration is obliterated, himself.

Aftershock got under Wedga from its rear and shredded the wheel. Then Wedga activated its flipper BEFORE Aftershock got on it and so, Aftershock dug straight into their flipper.

There, I think that made sense.

From Team Varying Every Day, Another Night At the Bar!

ANATB has a big bar spinner for a weapon, which is powered by a single LEM-130 motor, with 1500RPM speed and is able to give out 75 kJâ‚¬Â¦ but its wheels are exposed to spinning weapons, crushers and axes, and there are TWO in this fightâ‚¬Â¦

From Team Bored, The 6Isc!

The 6isc is the barbell-shaped robot weâ‚¬â„¢ve come to knowâ‚¬Â¦ and know. Itâ‚¬â„¢s got a 26kg vertical spinning disc powered by a LEM-130 Lynch Motor, and going at 2500RPM. Itâ‚¬â„¢s got weak armour and itâ‚¬â„¢s invertible so maybe a low disc, axe, or crusher could attack its tyresâ‚¬Â¦

From Team Doomforall, ArchAngel of the Abyss!

AOTA is a full body spinner waiting to rip you up to pieces! Itâ‚¬â„¢s got 12mph top speed, which is pretty fast for a walker. Also, this has two spinning rings, both spinning in different directions, the upper layer spins at 1000RPM and the bottom ring spins at an average speed of 1500 to 2500RPM.

3, 2, 1, ACTIVATE!

So, itâ‚¬â„¢s spinning time again! The three robots spin up to full speed. ArchAngel and the 6isc crash into each other!
CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OHHHHH!!!!!!! Sparks are flying and both bots go flying as well! Now, ANATB comes out of nowhere and crashes into the 6iscâ‚¬Â¦

...only to get damaged itself! The ANATBâ‚¬â„¢s axles are scratched very badly! I think that the 6isc hit the axle, and now look, ANATBâ‚¬â„¢s axle is scratched! Now, ArchAngel comes in again, and crashes into ANATBâ‚¬Â¦ STRAIGHT INTO ITS SIDE!!!
CRASH!!!!!!
OH!!!!!! ArchAngel just rips off a part of the wheel, and ANATB is limping on three wheelsâ‚¬Â¦
CRASH!!!!!!
â‚¬Â¦well, now thereâ‚¬â„¢s two. ArchAngel crashes into the wheels again and smashes another wheel, and ArchAngelâ‚¬Â¦
CRASH!!!
â‚¬Â¦smashes the pit release button.

Thatâ‚¬â„¢s the second time that this happened! Weâ‚¬â„¢ll have words with you later, Alex! :wink: Why, oh why do the robots keep on wrecking our arena?

ArchAngel is now spinning out of control again, and meanwhile, ANATB now spins up to speed again, and hits ArchAngelâ‚¬Â¦
CRASH!!!!
â‚¬Â¦ and damages himself again! No offense Martijn but arenâ‚¬â„¢t you being a bit impulsive right now?

ANATBâ‚¬Â¦ hang on a minute, is ANATB still mobile? I think ArchAngel may have dislodged something inside of ANATB! ANATB is now counted out.
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... OUT!!!!
Now ArchAngel spins down and tackles ANATB down the pit. BOOM! Alex and Frank sigh in relief.
