As a guide little flipper is 50mm Dia, ~50mm stroke full pressure, think G3 is around the same.

i have a 50mm ram somewhere that i could cut down to length. i have some batteries and mabee some drill motors and wheels. what would be a good speedo to control it.

The Sabertooth 2x10 RC is the perfect low cost solution for drill motors, doing away with the chunky and delay causing relays of the electronizes, having a fully solid state construction.

i have decided on a new feather. it wont quite be like envy. mind you i dont know if i can pull it off at all but going to look into it. my initial idea is to employ 2 of my new bosch 12v motors for a kind of silly speed ram bot. 1 to 1 drive for maximun sillyness. calling it billy whizz.

Sounds good - Run them at 24v and it will be seriously good!
There has been a feather using bosche 750s a while back, I think it was called alienator something similar.

gonna try it with 12v and 24v. might be a bit much on 24v but hey in for a penny in for a pound.

upgraded envy nearly built. runs on 36v, lower frame and lower angle flipper, hardox front and flipper. 8mm ti rear and front sides, down graded from ni-cads to hawkers 16ah for longer play. will put a more recent pic on profile later but you can get the idea from the pic on there. will be ready to play at the riat event.
