just want to check is this type of tx allowed for heavies as i know the old 40mhz are no longer allowed

It wont. as the RX will output a valid signal (normally last position), the FS1/Vantec won't know. You need an RX that either stops sending a signal when in failsafe (therefore your vantec/FS1 would kick in) or a RX that will allow you to set the failsafe positions.Comment

the spektrum transmitters are good you would just have to get a receiver that has failsafes
