    Vulcanon/vulcanore

dunlop kt3 is a good wet tire to try, weve been using them for a while.
The problems we have tend to be about power not grip.

Report on Vulcanon wheels. For Preston event we fitted new wheels to give them a test and after the last melee we dont have any Vulcanon left on the underside. We had about 8mm of tyre on 3 inch dia wheels. After a quick hard 5 minutes test at home all we got is a few scuffs and decided to try them at preston. We got 2 fights in total including the melee. After the first fight it didnt look like they had worn much at all but after the melee and a mess around with Air & cutlet at the end we were down to the metal. Dont know what happened but maybe they didnt stick to the wheels as good as they should.

Jonno, did you see any large lumps of Vulcanon when clearing the arena. Would like to know if they came off in one lump or not.

Erm... Oh does it have wheels top and bottom? As in the underside set of wheels? If not then Im still confused.

Perhaps he means the tread as opposed to the side-walls of the wheels.

No, We have 4 wheels on top and 4 on bottom (all drive wheels). Take a look at my profile. Still dont know if it was battle damage that ripped them off or they wore down. Either way I dont think therere suitable for such small wheels. Pitty they gave alot of grip but just too expensive to replace them after every event.

Guys what general depth do people get vulkolan put on to? I know KR2 used 5mm but is that alot, or very little.

                            Please let me know.
