With the BotsBitza controllers gaining popularity it'll see a lot of people no longer using ESCs with built in Mixing like the popular Scorpions and Saberteeth.
Although I'm now aware it's common knowledge, we bought a DX5E beacuse we wanted a Tx with built in mixing only to find it has half throws. Many searches and what not have unveiled that there is no way around this.
But I was lead to believe that other models of Spektrum controllers )(the DX6 for instance) do not have half throws until I got this email from them when enquiring.
Confused!
So what do people do for mixing then? We tried using a v-tail mixer in Bitza but it ruined our fail safing, and led to several stressful hours of trying to get it to work (thanks for everyone's help!) with a DX6i we borrowed instead. Although apparently that was a waste of time and explains why it was so slow! (Twice as slow in fact!)
