I've been looking at the rules again (i should do this more often really) and its says that a light must be displayed when the bot is in failsafe. Can I ask how people have done this. There is of course a power light but how do you wire up a led for when the bot is in failsafe?

Thats a recommendation, I don't bother with that.

That's been in the rules for ages, but as far as I'm aware it's advisory only. I've certainly never seen it enforced and can't imagine it'd be a simple addition in the same way a power LED is.

You mean on the transmitter mix?

I believe that a seperate V tail mixer sorts that problem out.

Yes I do, and just trying to avoid incorporating additional components, would be nice if I could just use the Tx.

Give up and buy a V tail mixer.

Does the GWS mixer work with spektrum dsm2 radio gear?

you could always make one yourself quite easily, do you have access to the lathe?

I dont anymore jonny. I can find plenty of plastic bezels for 8mm leds but no metal ones.

I think the mixer would only be of benefit if using q four channel where you can control both driving channels on the one stick.
