    Re: pneumatic dies

You can replace the Pinvalve with an On/off valve for a paintball bottle.

One of the pin valve filling pieces you have can be adapted to the Trevor. Otherwise, a fitting replacement nut isn't difficult to make, just takes time.

Actualy, if you fit one of those pinvalve adaptors directly to the Trevor, and use it with the pin valve bottle...
The knob is good enough to fill the place of required isolation valve.

Again, not that difficult, but takes time...

      Re: pneumatic dies

This is getting a bit complicated..........

The Trevor reg is designed to fit directly to the standard CO2 bottles. For feathers it is better to use the 600g bottles with a screw top available from Jonno at around £40. You will save weight as there is no requirement for a ball valve, the re-filling stations are set up with CO2 fittings and you can weigh the gas as you fill it.

There is also the need for a 1000psi relief if the Trevor reg is not directly fitted to the bottle, this was discussed at length by the FRA committee before I decided to sell them to roboteers. The same rule applies btw to welding regulators.

I know you are trying to save some cash and I have every sympathy having done it myself from day one. But one lesson I learned the hard way was that buying parts that have been designed to compliment each other saves money in the long term, because they work.........

This is not a rant nor am I drumming up business for Jonno. It has been proven to work for over 5 years now....

That is the simplest solution of it all. Takes no extra work.
