    Looks interesting Ewan!
I have a couple of questions...but they can wait until I see it in the flesh at Magna..
    See you on Saturday,
    Geoff.

It looks evil Ewan. That disk has gotta weigh nearly 4Kg assuming its solid! If not youd better start drilling my boy! lol

looks like a nice design, but is the disc ballanced well enough? Looks like too ruff a cut to be perfectly balanced, and if your running off a gold, it may not have the brute force to keep it spinning at a nice speed!

Cant wait to fight it - zoooooom smash. So what it does when 10mm ali with 5mm Ti on top of it hits it at 25mph. Big spark and someones going to fly, or both. LOL!

            To all questions:

Rob, Its only 2kg, even though it looks as beefy as it does

Grant, Its nicely lathed down, and the teeth balance it out perfectly. I dont really think the front-view of the disc does it justice.

            Stu, bring it on! lol

Ewan I like your feather but try and get your hands on an EV Warrior or better and up the voltage to 24v, as im alittle unsure about how the Gold is going to perform.

Then I might be going towards getting scared nearly just about.

Ewan. I estimated it was close to 4 Kg, being spinner enthusiast myself Ive a good idea how to judge their weight density of ali is 2.7kg per cm3.If your disk has a rad of 14.5cm its area is 660cm2, or 66cm3 per mm of disk thickness, giving a mass of 178g/mm thickness. My own 290mm disk on BlacknBlue is 8mm thick giving a mass of 1.5 Kg, yours looked nearer 20mm thick in the pic hence my estimate. The steel teeth add to the weight too.
Can wait to see it spining up!

I think you must have strong gravity that messes with the scales in your area

2.7g/cm3 may be nearer the mark.
