    Overview

why do you need a high speed?

10mph in featherweight or even heavyweight sized arenas is more than enough. The important factor is the acceleration as the arenas arent that big.

A couple of 9.6V drill motors with 7cm wheels I can tell you will give more than enough speed in an arena without touching a calculator

Got to agree with Gary on this one, P.I.T.A was around 16 MPH and was on the ragged edge of being drivable in even the largest arenas!
I have since dropped the top speed to around 12.5 MPH and its a whole lot easier to drive and still more than quick enough to deal with pretty much any machine out there.

        ok .
I wont overvolt the drill, which will give me about 14mph.

        Thanks

EDIT: Youre lucky I trust you more than I trust me.
