There is a rough size comparison of them with the compreesor motor which is the same size as the 18/12V drill motors and on 61 you can just about see the gearbox inside the wheels.

FYI these pics are very very large so unless your broadband expect very very long download times!

Not limited to space so didnt see the point in making them smaller, but just limited in the number of connections.

Im thinking of upgrading Hells Angels motors to drill motors, and changing the wheels to those grippy blue ones Ive heard so much about. How much are decent drill motors, and which ones would you suggest ? Oh, and where do the blue wheels come from, James cooper I think, but I may be wrong.

Yup, you can get them in a range of sizes from James Cooper (info@rcwars.co.uk), for a small extra fee you can get inserts pre-built into the wheels which will just screw strait onto the drill thread. Any cheap drill is usually exactly the same as the next cheap drill. The challenge range from argos (.co.uk) is one of the most used and cheapest brands.

Are spare dewalt drill motors suitable?

Dewalts are very good drill motors!

speaking of drill motors, i just found my local b and q selling 12v drills for a tenner along with jigsaws and hammer drills etc so if u want some motors or some cheap power tools its worth a look!
