      The smallet the pitch, the smaller the pullies can be. The smaller the pully, the lower the weight.
      Also, why would you order a thing like that in the US, and paying lots of taxes and transport, when this is stuff you can find localy.

          I dont know directly where to buy it in the Netherlands. As I live in Belgium.
          But Inventor, Cavecrusher and a few others on the Dutch forum do.

                    I would use the 6mm chain from technobots. Its very light and would happily power the disc.

                        no, for one they are Nimh and so cannot provide large currents and 2 they look a bit cheap and so will probably not do too well in combat.

                          what is the differends between these batterys:
                          http://www.mnm-computers.nl/images/Batterijen/GP_AA2500.jpghttp://www.mnm-computers.nl/images/B.../GP_AA2500.jpg
                          and these sanyo cells:
                          http://www.accushop.at/images/3600HV.jpghttp://www.accushop.at/images/3600HV.jpg
                          (accept for the capacity)

                          why cant i juse AA baterys?

                            well the first set are AA batteries, and will not be able to supply enough current for your motors. The second battery appears to be a sub c cell. These are capable of higher discharge rates than the AA battery and are much more suited to combat robots. I beleive the second battery will be good enough for you to use as scorpion evil runs on 3700mA sub c nihm cells with astros.

                                Two quotes from above;

                                they are Nimh and so cannot provide large currents

                                scorpion evil runs on 3700mA sub c nihm cells with astros.

                                Who is right? Im betting that Nimh can provide large currents.
