That's because filling co2 bottles is a high risk operation. It's not a difficult task but it does require concentration and a good knowledge of the dangers. When I worked at a paintball site we treated staff for Ice burns on a regular basis.
Not through lack of equipment or method statements. It was always rushing and non use of ppe. Most sites have switched to high pressure air now, safer but still not without risk.

so no build progress this weekend, as I've been busy finishing off our extension. The downside of this is I will lose my excellent robot building room. I then noticed my wife's choice of coffee table. Ha! The robot can stay and is cunningly hidden.
I am currently waiting on speed controllers, vinyl graphics, gas bottles and the last custom machined part for the flipper......there were will be a video within weeks.

OOO exciting the speed controllers have arrived, note from post office left. I've also been finishing the vinyl, so Legion has a face or should I say eye. The eye will glow blue once I'm done.

If you wanted to mix from seperate sticks would you be able to use a v-tail thingy?

I think you mean if i wanted to mix two controllers to a single stick? then yes this would be the item. My controller has a mixing setting so essentially my V-Tail thingy is built into my controller. I would find it really hard to drive a robot using two sticks, i need my left hand for weapon activation

I'm looking to use the same speed controllers but use the forward and back on the right stick and the left and right on the left stick. If I mix on the transmitter I won't manage it so just been curious about mixing with individual ESC's but on separate sticks lol.

It can be done on a dx6i using the mix option. You can select which sticks to mix.
