    • After watching the video it appears it's been cut short during the upload, albeit only by maybe 20 seconds

      • Is it possible for you to upload it to youtube? I'm unable to watch it.
        This computer is acting up...

        • I'll try uploading it to youtube now however it's from my phone as my computer is broken so it could take a very long time

            • As i've now decided to make video updates of the build which i hope will help future builders with their first bots, does anybody think it might be worth me posting a short video on how i've done the electronics in mine?

              • No real progress made i'd just like to share my latest cock up, so after taking the body off the bot yesterday to loctite the threads i was interrupted by my son waking up crying ( he's 18 months) and failed to notice that i had left the HDPE body by a radiator which subsequently came on quite hot, so this morning i go to fit the body back to the robot and find that it is now warped and no longer fits properly, and as i don't have enough material or enough money to make a new shell i have had to make the most of it and bodge a fix which has resulted in an ill fitting rear panel and a bowed side panel. So lesson learned i believe.

                • Ah, that sucks! And completely understandable that it wouldn't have occurred to you, just one of those things. Hopefully you can restore it.

Not being funny, but, is there a chance you could put it back by the radiator in such a way it might return to original shape, or at least take some of the warp out?

                  • I've heated it up with heat gun and have taken some of the warp out but only enough that it sort of fits together again, it's still strong enough i would have thought, i'll be retiring this chassis after the champs anyway so it only needs to hold up until then.
