after maidstone it was obvious 2 megawottys for 4 lem´s wasn´t enough ... we had the power set at 60 % and still we could not drive as we wanted ...Ordered in total 4 uberwottys ( 4 x 400 amp´s for 5 min. cont.) so next time Brutus should run as it was designed for ... still had a lot of fun at maidstone and learned alot ...Comment

I thought a megawotty was 1000 amps 250 per quadrant so the uberwatty is 400 per quadrant ? what's the cost of that and is it much larger than the megawotty ?Comment

What I have in mind for the Uberwotty is for it to just do one motor.
4x350A FETs in parallel for each motor.
For 4 LEMs you would need 4off Uberwottys
The mixing you would do on the transmitter and you would use two Y leads to drive the two right and two left hand Uberwottys
they are the same price as a megawotty ...
We use 6 packs a123 packs 9.2 ah ( http://osn.en.alibaba.com/product/17...tery_pack.html ) and they perform very well ... we can do 2 fights and then need 15 min. to charge them ...Comment

We replaced the 4 lem´s to 4 Movimotors ( from italy) and had our first testdrive today ... real test this weekend in Guildford ...

Guildford 2015 ; Disaster ...
