      Re: TXR - FLOW

This is all simple stuff so far. You should have us do your flipper robot. Could make it alot more powerful and lighter.

Yeah I was lookin at my flipper other day, and all my robots. Pinsor and few of my others I was thinking of sellin em all off and making a couple of good robots instead like you sorta did. Might keep that flipper and just use it to death for now so I have sommet to use

I cut myself some bulkheads for that axe I'm doin and took it to work, and the guys there even said u shudder just bought the material in and a drawing and we'd have cnc'd the bulk heads for ya lol I can almost program stuff myself but there's ALOT to take in lol ican just about do a basic program to drill a line of holes or something or skim a piece of material with a facemill but anything more then that and it'd take me ages to work it out haha.

Once you get good with the drawing and operating the machines you should be able to make some well sweet robots. You off t' event in Leeds? or the Robo Challenge one? Wanna see ur flipper robot in action.

Just spent the night round at ALK getting my bulkheads machined by Kenny.

Who do you get to pressure test your rams?

They dont have to be pressure tested. And even if they did they are far superior to anything you can get off the shelf.

Oh dear, how do you know they are safe if they aren't tested, we do material thickness calcs on our kit and still hydro them just to make sure.

Only thing you don't have to do as long as your not selling any type of pressure vessel is get it certified for P.E.D.

And if you are selling them P.E.D isnt a problem until you get into the certified body approval, for a CAT 3 job on our equipment we have to pay around £1200.00 for the certification, bit less for CAT 2, Cat 1 and sound engineering we can do ourselves in house
