    Re: TXR - FLOW

Clocked the ram base up in the 4 jaw and turned some weight out of it.
Also drilled and countersunk the baseplate and drilled and tapped the ram body.

would be very interested to see how you make some fp valves as im soooo pised off with burkerts,
next year I want different valves or a ball valve system.

        Re: TXR - FLOW

Heres a mute style FP valve, ram pipes are missing but it feeds our front two rams

                        Re: TXR - FLOW

Probably around 1.25 - 1.5 kg with that big base plate I'd have thought. We will have to weigh them. Aiming for 1.5kg or less. The piston rod has a fair bit of weight in it with it being 30mm dia but it needs to be like that for strength really. There's robot with 40 bore low pressure rams that are heavier.

How have you affixed the plastic (nylon?) top on the piston ram?

Cut material and prepped for end caps. This is going to be one big buffer.
