            Re: scruffy

ebay is your best bet or there is one in the for sale section
an easy way to do it yourself is to get some threaded rod and put that in a drill motor with the chuck put back on.
please say your robot name is a futureama refference

              Re: scruffy

got an actuator mech (9.6v drill and threaded rod tube thing hard to explain) the threaded rod needs to be welded to the drill output then it's good to go. if interested i can put a picture up in here

and thanks jonny you've given me an idea I've got sme break pipe connectors from ebay i was going to insert into some wheels but i can use 1 and weld come thread into 1 end and then screw it onto a drill and put a bolt through the shaft to stop it coming off

                  Re: scruffy

here is 1 of the wheels I've modified to fit on the drill motors, i have used a break pipe connector i found on ebay and opened the bore of the wheel out to 13.5mm and force the break pipe connector in.

and i have a sabertooth dual 12a controller or might just use a couple of boat 1 as i have found some that can run on 14.4v for about £13 a piece and a v trail mixer

Nice find on the Break Pipe connector! Effectively gives you a long 3/8 UNF nut. Just need to find one 14mm long to match the thread on drill shafts.
