Finally bought some stuff:
Motors, Mounts & Wheels ordered.
Electronize FR15HX Speed Controller ordered.
12v SLA Battery & LEDs ordered.

SLA's are a bit dated for feathers you know, bit on the heavy side. Also, did you make sure to order 2 of those electronize and not just one?

Harry, I'll consider getting NiMhs, I found this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-3700mA...item3353ee4e1a
But for now I'll stick with the SLA, it can go quite long without a recharge.
It has also arrived, as have the LED's:
