I did contemplate putting an offer in for that beetle but figured I'd bought enough stuff already! Nice to know I've got a local BW to compete against
What about Full o' Trix. Or since Cicatrix means Scar, and this is a smaller version, how about Paper Cut?

I was considering building a robot called William the Great for any AWS's up here just to wind them up

I did figure there would be a few full combat car park matches between us when we're both done with our BW's Jamie, just not that car park at my place thats on like a 45degree angle . Like those ideas too Jamie, think i'll open it up to my FB people too and see if any of them care enough to comment

If by 'some people' you mean the antweight forum, its the older generation that have the problem, and its because we tend to have more younger roboteers at our events, hence they are a bit touchy about it.

Since your beetle is a drum bot, I was thinking of the name Snare.

Right, trying to run this BW off of 2 different voltages, one esc on 7.4v and the other on 14.8v from 2 2s lipos. Can I just do this by wiring both batteries up to one esc and only one of them to the other or will discharging them at different rates make them upset?
