Also made a new mount for a wheel which use to have the weapon motor bolted to it.

going to wire up and test at the weekend then on to LF3.
That is a meaty motor, What capacity is the 10 cell lipo? My robot runs two speed 900's at 6 cells and the capacity is 3000mAh which I suspect is much more than I need. Weight and space saving to be had in short. And two of those would be a serious upgrade!
Is the 10:1 ratio new, or the existing ratio from the previous champs? Because it's always looked like it's spinning waaaay faster than 2000rpm, especially when you rev it up high!
Although it could be down to the fact that the whole body is rotating and is quite large, so looks much faster...
But the upgrades look very nice, hope they do the job. I have to admit though, it's quite worrying reading about NST and LS4 getting upgrades to make them more reliable. They're deadly enough already
Tried to test on friday plugged the link in and nothing happened, the scorpion speedo did work a year ago so dont know why its not working now but it hasent blown up so mark may be able to fix it but on taking it apart i found that only a few fets were touching the heatsink pad, so much for quality. If mark can get it going i will modify this and use it as a spare.
