A bit weird...tried an orange rx with satellite rx behind the wheel (no armour above or below it) and i only get about 5m range.... tried with a genuine spectrum unit that came with my dx7 and thats a bit better with the satellite, i get about 6m range....but its still dodgy as in my plane it goes for 100's of meters without an issue.... ill keep playing about with it until i get it right.

Probably just for demo's and maybe the odd whiteboard, doubt it would be competitive against some of the new stuff, that and I can't drive 720, diablo and 360 lol

I doubt anyone would be suicidal enough to put their robot in with 360 for a whiteboard... not even me! And which machine will you drive at 2013? 720 I presume.

And yeah 720 will be in the competition.

Decided to ditch the servo feedback on the arm as its always caused problems... going to have just limit switches feeding back to the H5 now, so there ordered, when there in ill get some videos etc if the H5 still works lol, also means since i lost my disc man (Kenny decided to go build his own robot) ill now be driving it all from one DX8, ditching my DX3R.

Also changing the ratio on the disc to 4.5:1 giving a disc speed down to around 4500krpm, should still be ok, hopefully more reliable.

Also snaped one of the connector blocks of the scorpion XXL, so that's going to be hard wired... just waiting on all the bits to turn up then i can get going.
