Can belts be twited round 90 degrees? I mean so one pullys at a 90 degree angle to the other? Can timing belts do this, or would O-ring type belt be better? Thanks

Dont think cam belts will twist 90 but a o ring belt will def do it

i've seen a couple of robots that use 90 degree timing belts, they might be using special belts belts though.

found picture and some more info

Nasty weapon plus invertibility is a winning combination. The secret to making this work is custom extra wide & tapered cheeks on the motor pulley and a wider then usual weapon pulley. I think this would work just a well for grooved pulleys if you use the more flexible style belts.

Ok thanks,, so just extra large pullys, and I'll add an extra tappers if it falls off. Thanks for the help! And do you think the technobots belts would be flexible enough?
