    my wheels are about 2 inches, hence the low reduction

        6:1 sounds very low, I think 30:1 would do best

          unsure yet but their old meccano wheels which are small but wide, need the space inside if im going for a BW bulldog breed

            @Matt, I hope you realise that as well as a Bull Dog there is also a Bull Beetle and if you didn't call your robot Bull Beetle Breed you'd be missing a great opportunity!

                Haha nice name, and 30:1 would be best I think, I used the slightly lower reduction ones and there fast to fast, with no power on 50mm wheels. Smaller wheels may be ok, but I like my robots to be invertable

                      Thanks to Kenny for profiling new titanium base plate for rpm tonight as more clearance needed for hardox tooth I just fitted to drum, it works pretty well Tom just putting a test vid together so will be on soon

                            Designed next beetle, its going to be a mini nightmare style with 1 big disc and the 2 wheels out of the side

                            Had a few hours spare on the mill this afternoon and managed to do the disc its cut from a D2 tool steel offcut

                              Made bulkheads for Flange last night, did it pretty ghetto on our little manual mill
