hehe, annoyed was the understatement of the week They were even more annoyed when I threw thor OVER refbot... as stu already said.
Ohw, and i think LOTS of flippers are gonna use the system. Only getting hold of certified full pressure buffers is gonna be hard. And the new Gravity uses an even more advanced system... MUCH larger flow, 140 mm diamter ram...

WJ, if you have to run Gravity at less than its full power due to arena restrictons, whats the point in making an even more powerful robot? Apart from the fun of it, of course.

WJ ordered parts, and builded a robot from it.
Speedos ,ram,burkert valves...Just order and pay.

Making a good robot from it is still up to the builder.

Gravity was a very good robot. And yes, it ran restricted in the heats after the qualifiers.

But next time all the bets are off.. no more Mr Nice WJ.

Mario built the ram and the full pressure buffertanks, the heart of the beast so to speak. Next set of buffertanks for the next version of Gravity will be built by him too. Only person I know who can build AND certify full pressure buffertanks.

I didnt know Gravity was limited. So, EEEEK!

BTW, when WBC threw the other robot out of the arena the other robot travelled in the wrong direction, i.e. in the direction WBC considers forwards. Roger told me he thought that the flipping arm bent like a spring as pressure built up in the ram, and as it moved up it then un-bent, flicking the other robot forwards. So it may be possible for Gravity to do the same if its flipping arm is springy enough.

my arm isnt springy... its made of 2 lengths of 60x30x3 mm mild steel... not springy
