Kat 3 has never been in the semis me thinks.
It doesnt seem like an all-star competition.
Its great all these robots competing because they are all all-stars, but theres note enough of the real all stars.
Yes, it should be the top 16 of series 7 and then 16 other great robots for ebing great or past trophies for things like sportsmanship etc

Mentorn defined the All-Stars as the seeds from the previous series back in Extreme. So yes, if you could argue that this isnt a true all-stars line up by Mentorns previous definition.

However, that doesnt mean it wont be a good show !

Like Ed said, it dont mean that it wont be a good show, if anything the producers loved the show. And u dont have to get to the final of RW to be an All Star. Some bots are just great to watch fight, and the teams are great fun.

In most events (not just RW) All Stars means the ones who are available and are likely to be recognisable to the majority of viewers. In some events it means arent in the running any more, but people know who they were. Id say Kat 3 qualifies for recognition, and Gravity is highly recognisable!

Yep, the first All Stars featured Diotor, despite it crashing out in the first round the year before.

Didnt do it much good after Firestorm saw to it, but anyway!

But, as Stu pointed out, this event started life as a Veterans event. They changed it to an All Stars due to the inclusion of Dantomkia. Despite real life, they dont yet count as Veterans for the TV series. Sorry Mike :-)

And dont judge it until youve seen it.

Fascinating. Should have been kept to veterans though, as lacking robots like bulldog breed and thermidor, and new ones like typhoon and gravity doesnt quite make it a strictly all star competition.
