Being a big fan of anything robot wars related, i watched robotica for the 1st time the other nite,just wondered what other people thought of it. i dont want to offend but i thought it was awful, then again the presenters didnt help

i think it is ace, as it is something wheely big cheese would be able to win, but storm2 or razer couldnt

Robotica is a cool programme, as it is sort of like a trip back in time, to the days of RW seasons 1 and 2. Its the kind of programme where the most destructive weapon doesnt neccessarily win the tournament. Besides, its nice to see some different robots.

IMO shoot Ahmed Zappa and basically youve got halfway to being a decent programme. Problem is that the formula wears a bit thin after a few shows.
Good technical features and a good test of speed,power, handling and driving, but not enough combat.

The problem is with robotica is when i see the show im thinkin I would so win this competition, easy not taking in the fact that when Robotica was taped, the UK was already in series 5 or 6.

The only thing i think that is a good thing is tht robots with low ground clearance go out of the competition very quickly. So you are forced to think of a different design of robot. THz or WBC (sorry James) would never win this event, just because they would get stuck in the maze or the gauntlet every time.

Ive got most of Season 3 on my Youtube account. Sadly I dont have a TV ripper so I had to use the low-budget technique of pointing my video camera at my TV. Ah well.

Robotica

I think its ok.
I like the courses, the bots, the fight to the finish.
Maybe if it had combined a bit more combat in the courses then that might make it a bit better for me.
