If Ghost Raptor was well designed and built it wouldn't have broken on the first hit. Its primary weapon had several design flaws and they just got lucky with the lifter.

I agree, ghost raptors design was shocking. If the bar was strong enough it would have been bad. A large bar that high and at an angle is about the worst possible way to do it, and that's before making the bar from two ultra thin sheets with only 10mm around the edge of the pivot.
They should have stuck with the original design and used Predaraptor

It was in the Budweiser advert that Battlebots sued and I'm fairly sure it was banned from Battlebots after for legal reasons... At least, I recall that being the story at least
Edit: actually no that was Tripulta Raptor... Think the robots were somewhat related though so could still be a factorLast edited by Flag Captured; 16 July 2015, 11:35.

Christopher Lloyd
Simon Scott and Ian Lewis with the GigaBot (Heavyweight) Nut 1999
Every time I see him at an event, I am really shocked how similar both look!
He are Twins?
Or is it Christopher Lloyd, my beloved actor!Last edited by IceMaster; 17 July 2015, 20:42.

well that was a sea of big hits and upsets still a little gutted for icewave and part of me is impressed by ghost raptor part of me feels like if you dont declare an addon you shouldn't be allowed to put it on but at the same time it was brilliantly designed
