  • ESC to drive two 750W motors

    Hi,

I'm looking for a ESC to drive two Movimotors (equivalent to the bosch 750W motor).

    Voltage of 24+

Does anyone have anything that they are happy to sell me?

    Thanks

No spares in our box on heavy ESC's. The Sidewinders we have , are in use.

But Robot Power does have the Vyper.

How are you finding the motors compared to boshes? Magnets still need retaining etc?

In Brutus they replace the LEM's.
And yes, these are customized bij Kos.
Front plate replaced to use the same take up as the LEM
        Magnet retaining blocks bolted in.

          Calum,

Movi motors are slightly heavier then the bosch, they are well made, the front part of the can is cast and could snap around the three front mounting bolts from shocks. There are two bolts that run from the front to the back holding the motor together, where they thread into the front of the motor this is a weak point.

I have glued the magnets, and have not made any other mods, seems to work fine, but not done much testing yet.

Know of two teams developing upgrade kits for this motor.

Mario, thanks, will look into the Vyper.

          Thanks

If it's of any interest, I have a pair of IFI VEX Pro Victor 883 controllers which have been gathering dust. I last used them on a DIY Segway a couple of years ago.
