Looking for a speed controller that would handle a 250w scooter motor axe set up, have looked at victors and botbitz but they're just this side of too expensive brand new. Does anybody have anything suitable at a good price?

I have a pair of 30a Electronize going, I would expect one of those to handle this comfortably, even on 6s. 250w at 24v is a third of the Electronize' rated (and they insist it's a completely true rating, I tend to believe them) continuous current capacity. Others will vouch for their bulletproof-ness.

Just use a remote relay switch. Axes don't really need to be speed controlled.Comment

i use one 30a Electronize unit for both motors, relay will work but doesn't allow you to reduce your power etc for self rights or pulling the axe back. no toy would brake itself if I let the axe come back at full tilt with the speed 900s and bend the ali chassis,Comment
