old school speed controller

Im asking if anyone has an ancient speed controller that has been laying in the shed gathering dust that they could donate to me to help me construct a motorised sack trolley to save me poor old aching back when moving stuff in the garden.
Ill willingly pay the postage for a WORKING controller.
