hi guys

after some spur gears to make a 250:1 reduction gear box - suitable for hw use

anyone got anything spare or suggestions of places that won't cost the earth?

Technobots do the best value gears - they are also EN28 not the cheap chinese mild steel ecomomy gears you get from HPC or RS.

Depends in motor you want to use.

Drill? Speed 900? Small fast running brushless?

250-1 Bosch 750.
Minimum size gear on the motor-axle. Mod1 Z 18. Or Mod 1.5 Z14.

4 stages. Each time stepping up the mod.

Z18-Z72

Mod 1 mod 1.25 mod 1.5 and mod 2

End result is the wopping 2772 Nm stall torque...
