  • Polycarbonate

De ja vu, but does anyone have any spare polycarbonate lying around? Doesn't have to be in great condition and around 6-8mm would be fine. Maybe even one of the old walls from an arena if any of the EO's have any lying around.

    Cheers

      Re: Polycarbonate

I think its somewhere around 2400mm x 1000mm or so we need. Maybe slightly more.

        Re: Polycarbonate

I will be making arena walls that will either be 1m or 1.2m long and 150-200mm tall, and there will be a minimum of eight sections bolted together. So a 1.2m x 1.6m piece would provide enough for us to clad the walls of our smallest setup, but we'll happily take as much as is available/we can afford

If there isn't any polycarb kicking about, we'll get some HDPE (non-transparent isn't a problem as the walls are low) but that would be our second preference.

Why not just go with some 3mm steel then? Dirt cheap, easy to work with, can weld it if need be and would happily stand up to some basic abuse

            Or 2x4s, even?

              Re: Polycarbonate

We're using steel too, but trying to keep the weight down and the ability to be transported easily is important too. If by 2 x 4's you mean wood, we tried that and it didn't go well
