after burgess hill ive stripped my motor apart and found the some comm segments are a little
loose so will not be worth rewinding as when turned on the g force will assist then to fly out !
so i need at least 1 complete armature that i could rewind if nesasary, i have found price on new
motors which is £112.80 each if anyone wants some we could share postage costs.

not sure how it was done, i was trying to get the sprocket off and noticed some tiny gaps so I slid in a stanley just to check and they are a bit unstuck, i suppose the heat affected the glue.
dont think I will get a 2nd hand replacement soon so will have to sit out some events or buy
2 brand new ones so they are matched in speed, or refit my gyro to counter for 1 better motor.
dont want to get new bosches as i wanted to make a new drive system with gears and different
            motors maybe mag s28's.
do you have a rs code for them blue wheels alan ? or the website ed was talking about, i might get
the motors and sort the gears out now hopefully before leeds.

They are the Mags (just re-branded), same as what Nipper uses.

Why not think about the Iskra Motors?
Mostely available with about any hydraulics shop. More rugged design than the Bosch 750.
                        And about the same pricetag.

Bullfrog uses the AMG 800W 24V version, and it is rather nippy with the Sidewinder and solid reduction gearing.

Arena Killer used the AME 500W, and after 13 years, those are still very useable.

typhoon 2 used the 800w iskras before swapping out to the small mags purely to save weight. Iskras were very nice. I should know, I have em sitting in my shed

got 2 brand new 750's today, who uses a magnet retaining kit as they are all glued in quite tightly,
on the old ones they weren't glued. is this now sufficient ? or do i have to break them out, also the 4 metal pins from the old kit dont fit in the spring clips between the magnets does anyone run without them ?

The glue isn't very strong, to remove them put a block of wood against the ends and hit it with a hammer (don't just hit the magnets as they will crack/chip) so they slide. I normally just re-glue them back in with better glue and put the clips back in, but i would try to refit your retaining kit if you can, maybe try and get ome smaller pins. The new motors have been made in Brazil for the last few years and dont seem as well made as the old German ones.
