Cheapest place would probably be your local car breaker yard. Find a Jaguar or two and raid the underneath of the driver's seat.

    Failing that, something like: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XJ40-X ... 500wt_1054

Yup. I think it's also got a third motor that powers the threaded rods at the side but as far as I'm aware, it's not a Bosch 35.

Jamie and I were at a breakers yard a few weeks ago and there was loads of them, probably at least 10 pairs.

Couldn't guarantee anything but I could possibly pick up a pair from one of the local breaker's yards round here at the weekend if you can't get a pair elsewhere.

also wanted: a decent trigger style 2.4ghz transmitter fairly cheap, i.e. around £50 max

If you can't find any Jamie i'll have a run down to that scrappy up here at some point next week and see if I can get hold of any.

                        Re: bosch 35s

Coolio, at least we know there are plenty kicking about there.
I'm thinking of grabbing some for myself too, as one of Drumroll's drill motors is starting to smoke and I reckon having them direct drive onto 125mm wheels is just too much, so might re-arrange the internals and throw some 35s in there with belt transmissions.

Can't find any 2.4GHz ones for £50 Harry, but if you're struggling you could always get something like:

                        http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cirrus-3CSX-t ... 500wt_1202

                        or

                        http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3CH-Channel-F ... 2609wt_952

and throw a conversion kit in it.

                        EDIT: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Spektrum-DX3E ... 692wt_1185

But it's only DSM so you might struggle to get receivers. And it's £70.

                          Re: bosch 35s

i meant £50 on transmitter alone, dont mind a bit more though. would a corona conversion kit work on one of those?

                            Re: bosch 35s

I couldn't say for sure. All they need is a positive and negative connection, and then a third connection to the PPM/signal wire. I know where to find these in the likes of the Skysport/Field Force 6 but I'm unsure with regards to other makes/types of transmitter. But I imagine there should be one somewhere...
