          go for nylon. Good for structural parts. That perspex is useless. Will crack and shatter after a shock.

                    HDPE is about half the price of Nylon, I don't know how they stack up against each other for structural use those.

                      HPDE is softer and more likely to deform hence why it is good for armour. Nylon is better for structural parts as it deforms far less under load and is more dimensionally stable. A thread will also hold in nylon for longer than in HDPE.

                        For structural parts, as a cheaper alternative to Nylon rather than use HDPE I have used RG1000. Both of which are used in Cicatrix so its quite good for comparison purposed and I havent noticed too much of a difference between the 2 of them in terms of damage/deformity.
