Re: BR 6000
The site let me put one in a basket too; it even let me pay for it. But when I phoned them today to se when my order might arive they said they were out of stock and would try and back order from Horizon. Since the BR 6000 is not listed on the Horizon website I fear I am bavck to square one. All suggestions gratefully received.

Re: BR 6000
hobbyking offer cheap fake spektrum rxs which seem to work just as well as proper spektrum ones. if you only need a 4ch rx you could give this one a go:

Re: BR 6000
Thanks for pointing it out; it does seem like it is compatible with DSM, but of course so is the AR 6000, which is still available. But I doubt that this receiver will have failsafe on all channels, like the BR 6000. That's an unusual feature, probably unique to robots. So I am still looking for a BR 6000.

Re: BR 6000
Apologies Jonny, I didn't see that bit.
John, as far as I am aware, those little Orange receivers output no signal when radio signal is lost, so you can just plug in your standard external failsafes as required. At least, that's how it seems to work with my DSM2 handset; not sure if it would be different for DSM technology (although can't think why it would be).
