Does anyone know of any good deals on a Spektrum DX6i. The best I've found is about £90. Does anyone know of a better deal? It's for my nephew, who will originally be using it to run an ant but eventually a feather as well, so it will be for multiple models. Thanks in advance.

Re: Spektrum DX6i
All of our other robots use BR6000 receivers and are on DX6 transmitters but I'm not looking to use them with this. I already have some AR6110e receivers. The ant doesn't really need to failsafe and I will be using a speedo with built in failsafe for the feather, which is why I want a DX6i.

Re: Spektrum DX6i
you can use a dx5e to run multiple models. It seems to be the receiver which memorises the tx not the other way round. Obviously you don't get model match and all that stuff but i've never found it to be a problem. We've just started fixing the ones which Luke has sat on/dropped/thrown into the van in a huff cos he lost/thrown into the air to celebrate winning/............... so we may end up with one spare if you want to borrow one to try out.

Re: Spektrum DX6i
Hi Andy, thanks for that info. When you think about it, it's logical what you say. So as long as the robots control in a similar fashion everything should be hunky dory and it will save the nephew a few pounds. I may well take you up on the offer of borrowing a transmitter just to make sure I can do it. Thanks again.
