    hey all

after orrions lem's gave up the ghost at ayelsbury we are in need of a new pair of motors, having spoken to a few roboteers we think the best bet would be a pair of bosch 750's. has anybody got some or know where one can get them, preferably cheap?

    thanks muchly

you mean littons (not lems) :P if you don't get hold of a pair of boschs, i think ive got some spare litton bits and a full motor.

        Re: bosch 750's

Probably not much of a help but I've got a couple of 12V Bosch 400s lying about that I could sell if your design would suit 12V motors (probably only overvolt to 18V max) and you can't get hold of 750s for a cheap price

          hi guys

haha, yes i meant littons, im not good with names iv only heard once :P

thanks rob for the link, gave them a call and true to your word they are a bit expensive, however if i dont turn anything up they will have to do.

jamie, bosch 400's might be a bit underpowered, but thanks anyway mate

Don't forget Littons and Bosch's aren't a straight swap so make sure they fit first.

Littons are long and thin, Boschs are short and wide so you'll need to modify the mounting.

May be worthwhile seeing if you can get the littons rewound or fully refurbed.

iskras are another option, long and thin similar to the littons

The AME motors were used in typhoon 2. Not sure what the going rate for one nowadays is though.

                thanks guys

i may look into repairing the littons but tbh orrion has always been a bit on the slow side, i dont mind doing a little bit of modding to the mounts, but il check the motor dimensions befor i buy them to see if they fit in anyway.

gary that link looks interesting, il check it out in more detail later
